the multiplier system makes it really difficult to get to 100 000, even 80 000 to reach lvl 3. Feels more like a hard badge.

Ever since the game's multiplier system has changed, getting the achievements have been ridiculously difficult. Before I can get the jump powerup I need to get 80,000 points but it takes as much effort to get those 80,000 points as it used to take to get 250,000 points before the game the changed.

It's 0:29 AM here, I can't stop playing this game. The conception is simple and well executed. The achievent system is great. It makes the player want play more and more. I love the art style. The music is the other good thing. It's superb, fits for the game. I really love the fight when the Sun is down and you can do it for more time if you can get booster.
It's a fight, that you can't win, losing and dying is inevitable.
Super fast, super fun, well done! 10/10
I wonder, how the shadows are made. The game was written in Unity, right? But these are not the Unity Pro shadows. Are you using volumetric shadows?

yay! the death shortened a bit. now i was wondering if you could add like a speedometer. its not really important but i feel like it would give a bit more of a rush. oh and make it so we can pause with the space button or something so that we can pause without worrying that when our hands not on the controls we'll die. that's prob just me though.

Oh, what an exploitable bug I have foud. When you are about to hit shadow train, press P, then unpause game and ta-da! You get no solar light penalty from touching it.

Personally, I love the update. Spacing out tris compels you to not just fly in a straight line until you have to inch out the way of an obstacle, it makes you have to take risk if you want a high score. Also love the new map layouts, the more obstacles, the better. I also thought the screen-shake was a nice touch as well, wasn't overdone either. I do agree though that the death animation is too long, but I think flippfly knows that now. Now all we need is some multiplayer modes and ship customization.

About multiplayer/ship customization: Not sure if you'd heard, but we've implemented a new voting system our our website (www.flippfly.com) - if enough community members ask for something, it's likely we'll add it to the next round of voting, and let the people who've bought the full version decide what we do next. We've actually already added one form of multiplayer to the current voting round - and as of right now, it's beating out mod tools by a few votes!

I don't mean to be disrespectfull but I feel like the game is worse now, I don't enjoy playing it anymore after the update.
I don't like singular Tris, and I really don't like the annoying sound they make. The old sound used to be in harmony with the background music.
The graphic style change takes away from the relaxed atmosphere it had as well.

LOVE THE NEW UPDATE! but im with the others. need to either shorten the death sequence or make it so we can skip it. other then that i dont see any problems. great game.

Hey, the game is great! :) but I think that the animation when I crash is definetly too long. But it may be so because I crash alot :D

I used to be able to make it thru quite a few regions now you go thru 2 and lose the sun..too fast and makes the game look and feel like another mainstream game..seems all the gamws I have played last 3 yrs are great to start out with then something happens..besides sponsored which ruined 2..and game is just another "yeah was nice when it first came out but?"

One of my favorite things about this was the quick turnaround between death and restart.
With the explosion death update, it looks cool, but takes waaaay too long.
Also, tris should still give you more points in the higher region, and this should be multiplied by the multiplier as well.

Whoa...this game just got even more intense and I love it even more. I'm not sure how I feel about the single tris and their smaller "auras" because I used to catch them from mid-air and they obviously feel different now...although that's how they were originally, if memory serves. But other than that, I'm thinking this update is magnificent. The shaking when you get a booster and the sunset with its music really add to the adrenaline. Plus, the multiplier system makes it less luck-based and more skill-based which is good for someone as great and powerful as me.

The black and white 3D graphic is awesome. The music is amazing. But only tris and obstacles are random...bonuses are static. However this is the best game i've ever played...conratulations!! My record is 282.185...is it good or bad?

Very enjoyable game. The music was great (although it could be longer... it loops pretty quickly!) and set the atmosphere well. I really liked the dark background when the sun is about to set, with the powerups glowing brightly. Too bad the game ends soon after that. I agree with giving each region a distinct look. I can't wait for this game to get better!

Great fun game! Its very thrilling to try and hit the goals. Especially when your very close to 130k when you did a 180k run on the level 4 goals lol :D

A time reverse power-up was directly above one of those very small obstacles. Naturally I went for the glowing yellow, not seeing the obstacle until it was too late.
You evil developers you.
