Good point Mindless_visions, and although this is a survival game and most survival game isn't about the storyline, I wouldn't mind something (boss/story) that'd be there when you reach the max level. Of course we should be able to play as far as we can (survival mode) afterwards, but a specific goal wouldn't be a bad idea in my opinion:)

Definitly one of best games i've seen here recently ;) Really enjoy the speed here and also that is not hard to avoid the obstacles. I think its in perfect balance that makes me focus and also not angry about dying each 15 seconds ;) Thanks guys!;)

Ivod - I think its called Racing the Sun because the ship is clearly solar powered and you are trying to get as far as possible before your power is cut off. Trying to outrun the setting of the sun in a sense.

Sceraming "F*CK' as you smash into a pylon when you're so close to level 6 apparently makes people look at you funny...

Amazing game! Simple but very entertaining. I like the fact that you can see your level objectives once you pause the game. The only thing I'd have liked to see is why I have to race the sun:p A little story concept would've been nice (and that you'll have to reach level 6 in order to find out/have a sun-boss shooting stuff you'll have to avoid or something?) anyway 5/5 and favorited

Very good game. I wish that you could see things from just slightly further away, since at a high speed you just -can't- reach a lot of powerups, and at a few points I had clouds covering nearly the entire sky from the top of the screen to the bottom even when I tried dodging them, but other than that, AWESOME. :P This is one of the few games on this site that actually managed to make me get into it enough to go "no!" out loud at a few points, which is saying something for a game of a type I don't normally play.

Thanks for your feedback and your 5/5 rating! We may adjust the visibility range on the powerups - perhaps one of your abilities will give you x-ray vision through the fog.

how about a "race the moon" mode? i perticularly liked the shading of night and was wondering if there could be a reversed gameplay effect so that you raced to keep it night

Updates work very well for me, thanks! One thing I would suggest: Change the color of one of the two pick-ups. Sometimes when you're busy avoiding obstacles you notice some beam of light on the horizon and you can't be sure if it's green or yellow. Wouldn't happen if one of them would be blue or red.

When the cloud went over the sun for the first time, and the game suddenly changed for that short second or so, I literally skipped a beat, not even metaphorically here, that shit gave me a fright, warn a guy!

I love the game, however, I am not entirely sure that this game warrants a pre-order. It is a fantastic game, albeit rather short, but from this very small alpha version, it does not seem like a game that should be bought.

Im going to be that 1! I didn't care for it while speed and the inpending possibility of smashing head on into an obstacle at a high rate of speed causes me to get goosebumps, The fact their was no real purpose of bonus rounds (atleast that I witnessed) I am thinking just like a team-mate I am not a big solo gamer so just a retarded AI to talk to you crack jokes etc. etc. Well, that is my gripe!

When we asked to make the Tris more visible, we meant during the daytime. theyre easily enough visible at night, but during the day the suns brightness makes the Tris near invisible until we're right on top of them

I just crashed into an invisible spike... and because of that i got 146 tris/150 and go 129k score instead of 130k... not cool
