needs a speed up button, and a better upgrade system along with some balancing, as loads of ppl have already mentioned. Otherwise quite fun 4/5 for your ideas (nice princess!)

Fun game but a bit on the difficult side, and what is up with putting the upgrade button way up in the corner which takes longer to get to?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The game will not let me summon what I want. As soon as my money goes over 150 the game forces me to place a mudman. When all of your spaces are already filled it is impossible for you to place another. It is also impossible to deselect this game needs A LOT of work. Other then that its an awesome idea.

People complaining about enemies being too tough have no idea what they're doing. It doesn't take long for your "towers" to get strong enough to utterly overwhelm the mobs. By the time I figured the game out the only things that could reach the Queen were the super-fast units. Really fun game besides. The replay value isn't too high, it's a bit too easy, but it stays fun long enough to finish the game. 4/5

Hey Frumpledorf, you should've been here yesterday when they had an earlier build up that lacked keyboard shortcuts and yet still had that in the description. Why dont you not talk about things you dont know about?

+ so evryone see this
1 : the hotkey are shown when you start a castle click on the right arrow to see them
2 : yeah the monster destroy the tower and what? is the game too easy? but if he harder it you will cry so shut up

You don't always want to upgrade. For example, the third upgrade on the plant makes it a pass-through attack but dramatically cuts its range.

people cry to damn much and don't pay attention. "it's too hard" "where is this? where is that?"
First off the game shows you the hotkeys and if its too hard then maybe video games arn't for you

beat the game all the way through castle 5 on normal, just get a good starting lineup, and the corpe guy as soon as you can afford it, and when you can afford it again do it again. Be sure to have about 100-150 bones for the freeze and fire blast spells to kill the guys with bombs, theyre the only ones who can destroy your ppl. Needs a survival mode plz, would bump it to 4/5 from 3

Having to click a button to manually upgrade a monster is a pretty hateful "feature" since a) every single player will want to upgrade monsters immediately, b) if you have two monsters of the same type next to each other it can take a while to get the right one, and c) the game is prone to lag, making clicking on a monster impossible. Having something that only exists to frustrate players isn't a good design choice.

3/5... would be much better if the creatures were invincible... on later waves losing most of your strongest creatures is pretty much an instant game over...

This game gets better the more I play it! Destructible towers really takes some consideration when planning your defense

Wow, finally seem to have the update, and in addition to hotkeys, difficulty seems to be toned down. Much more enjoyable than say... a couple hours ago... good job!

there are so many interface fails in this game. While the pixel graphic and video game music combination is cute, the game play just turn me down. 2/5 until changes. I am sorry if you are trying something new, but a lot of us have been playing TD for a while. 1) how do i know how many lives I have? 2) no bone bonus for begin the wave early? 3) nobody likes their towers destroyed, either remove that or changes that a handful cannot be destroyed, such as the aerial ones like dragon, Corpse that reforms, metamorphosis like slime and mudman 4) see other people's comment

Getting started: To get a easy win, put a slime and a skeleton, and in the last floor a corpe to get extra money. Start to update the attack of you skeleton to 10. Now buy a plant and put in the same flor of the skeleton, but dont waste the reach. put a slime in the back of the skeleton. (Remember when you see a star bellow a creature click then and double click in the up arrow to upgrade it, that increase range, splash dmg etc and dont cost money) And well the rest is in yours hands. Thats it only to have a nice start.

Very difficult at first. After failing normal mode lots of times, i went through easy mode and learned some tactics. I just finished castle2 in normal mode with 2.9k unused bones.
**My tip: fill your lower levels with a slime upfront, followed by a bunch of skeletons, then some plants. upgrade the slime and plants one attack point up to maximize space. once you have enough money, you can now add dragons or golems. I tried the other towers but they don't work great for me.

Ok. RE: units destroying towers. What it forces you to do is always have enough bones saved up for a fire spell, and not put any valuable units on lower levels. What it adds is a real sense of urgency to kill the warriors. Once I adjusted to this, it was not a bad design element. Still a hard game though. I'm on "easy" levels ... I think "easy" isn't the right word.

There is a very annoying glitch in the game on level one. On floor two if a monster hits a solider they disappear and the wave never completes!

Completed level one on extreme pretty much made me feel I was finished playing this game. Only to find out that it doesn't save any progress at all (could be me?). 4/5

I guess I'm confused ... I play a lot of TD games, but I'm not sure why I'm getting the "game over" screen. It happens at the start of a new level -- the enemy approaches my first tower, and then game over. Did I take too much damage in the last? Where is the health bar for the queen? Seems like this should be obvious ... no one else has mentioned, so maybe I'm just thick.

Man I hate to harp but I absolutely dont understand the decision to have towers be destroyable... I cannot figure out what you expect us to do, if we just focus on a few towers and upgrade them they still get steamrolled... is it a waste of money to upgrade towers then and should we just load up on cheap expendable units? This really ruins an almost pefect game in my opinion...
