Level 4 is simple if you don't follow the CPU move for move. Simply get to delivery before they do (skip quite a few upgrades) and follow that by getting a 2nd (and 3rd) site before they do. You'll be a little bit behind, but 3 restaurants >>> 1.

Menh, nevermind, I beat level 4... for some reason, I was able to buy the other two plots instead of the computer this time despite not really doing anything different.

level 4 is not that hard guys. Get your second and third stores early. Delivery can make you a ton of money each day, but wait until you have new stores first.

Wow. Terrible level design. Levels 1-3 are insultingly easy (build newsstand = win with no effort). Level 4 takes that away and becomes, as near as I can tell, impossible. That's not a learning curve... it's a flat plain connected to a vertical cliff. Horrible.

As for lvl 4, I made the 100% before the challenge was over. Best tip is to upgrade the speed, you can go to super fast and save a lot of money on seat upgrades, thus making all rounds perfect till you buy the new shop. The only flaw so far is that you build the same way throughout the whole game and some newspaper spots are unreachable for the people(use them on lvl 4 to make a huge profit from the secondary lanes). Another thing is that some level have it so that an expansion gives the CPU a second flow of people on his main building while your main building is never reached by more than one lane(lvl 2 I think).

Wow, lvl 4 is tough. My third time through and I thought I was doing awesome, 92.4% But I lost to the computer who had 95.54%

just dont try to copy the npc, as soon as you get 1000+ a day aim for a second shop, update it till you get 1500+ and get the third one -> npc get doomed
robbing: didnt happen to often to me + buy a camera and you wont get robbed again
4/5 (you should add langer rounds or an endless mode, would want to upgrade my shops to max for once)

lol this game sucks. You just use the same formula of playing throughout all the levels. Whoopee for variety of gameplay and music. sarcasm*

I agree with towny2k and triggle209, level 4 is extremely flawed, and the computer managed to get the second shop, second floor, delivery service and more all in about 2-3 in-game days. that's $12,500+ in that time i got maybe $4000, it's an impossible level and for this fatal flaw i rate this game 3/5, if this flaw gets fixed and level 5 is a challenge but not impossible like the 4th, i'd give this a solid 4/5, but all the same, great game up until level 4.

I didn't feel like I was playing a game. I felt like I was watching a movie. The strategy is exactly the same for every stage.

hmm level 4 seems flawed, you follow the CPU move for move and then at turn 18 it goes and blows around 10k that it just shouldnt have

Your Shopping Street game was perfectly without any form of randomness. Unfortunately, this one isn't. I don't know what triggers it, though.
