What I don't like of this game is that reaching a very long distance is pure luck since avoiding spikes is impossible at the speed the turtle travels...

This badge is based on luck.
Upgrade everything > Buy Chest Bomb > Buy few dozens of Nuclear Thingies (Around 75, although it is possible to reach 3kk without any but we go with the worst case scenario).
Launch your turtle at full speed and wait until he slows (from the right of the screen goes to middle of the screen) and shoot him with a Golden Gun. Wait again and repeat. After you have used all the bullets, start to use Nuclear Thingies. At some point you should be able to randomly pick up some more bullets. After picking those up, repeat the step with a Golden Gun.
Chest Bomb is going to protect you from 1 random spike. You cant avoid spikes at the speed at which turtle travels. That is why this badge is based on luck. Good luck fellow gamers ^.^

Always fun to come back to this game and blast the hell out of that poor turtle bastard! Iconic upgrade / flight game that never gets old. Art and music are great. Fun gameplay. Truly a classic of the genre.

Man, I accidentally jet-packed my poor Squirtle directly into a set of floating spikes...I feel extra-guilty, especially when I saw the jet-pack still going even after he was gored on the spikes :( It was like a futile attempt to escape...

Those of you wanting to play with Supernova just copy and paste this code string in your URL: supernova://play/?swfurl=https://chat.kongregate.com/gamez/0005/6614/live/tossTheTurtleV1KONG.swf?kongregate_game_version=1363247965 It should load the game with Supernova, the code is a bit confusing at first, but inspecting the code via Google Chrome and finding key things allows you to code any game that doesn't work in the same manner to get it to load via Supernova, something with the gameshell prevents it from working, but this is a great workaround Good Luck & Have Fun Everyone :3

To get hard badge:
1) YOU MUST HAVE GOLDEN GUN AND TANK, AND AROUND 15 NUKES.
2) When you start, aim nearly horizontal, and just before you hit the ground, use the missile.
3) Right after missile ends, shoot.
4) Make sure the turtle bounces three times before you shoot again.
5) Repeat until out of bullets.
6) Just bounce along and try to get more bullets, and if you are about to stop moving, use a nuke.
7) As soon as you get more bullets, shoot and do what you did before.
8) This should see you past 3,000,000 feet. :D

Well, the turtle does have a shell, that may explain how he`s not dieing when crashing on the ground, whilst cannoned at ridiculous power.

Anyone else think there should be a hotkey for the jetpack/nuke. Sometimes I'm dragging along the floor really slowly and I can't move my mouse to the icon in time.
