I can't get past level 10. Does anyone have suggestions for strategy? I put down a wealth mushroom first, then work on all the pures and some machine guns. Then I put down life plus mushrooms and more pure ones. Yet I always die around wave 63/65. I end up having enough money, but I simply can't make enough mushrooms as fast as the enemies come on those last 5 waves. What's your best working strategy?

it's a nice game, i like the different combinations! but a level is way to long in my opinion.. maybe it's because i die always at the 21-22 waves and this is just the short mode.. doing it all over again it's a bit frustrating!

1) level is way too long 2) hard to get skill points to upgrade 3) gems are really good and need more combination to give u tactical advantages. good game 4/5.

it totally sucks playing a level for an hour only to die for NOTHING...makes it a little more challenging than most games. it's a fun game otherwise but could use a few improvements like a x10 speed button, don't die for nothing, and make the gem thing easier for people to understand, they're quite useful.

I enjoy these games, but I have to agree that they should make it possible to play at a faster speed. Also, if I use the WASD buttons to scroll, I get stuck on the right side of the screen (this has happened to me on multiple computers). Agree with ChaoticWerewolf that upgrading desperately needs to be streamlined and that level 5 is a pain- I died on the last level with about 10 enemies left on the screen- why??!

One of the easiest ways to get a bigger score is to increase your max lives. At the end of the level you get 2000pts x lives which adds up quite a bit towards your medal.

I look into the developer's profile and i really don't understand how he made this one real game among all that… well thanks to whoever encouraged him.

Muaha, in case anyone else is mildly obsessive like me, I've done the math for which elements deal the most raw damage. I figured this by finding each towers' average damage and dividing it by their attack speed to find damage/tick for each. In descending order; #1) water, 30.9 #2) Neutral, 29.8 surprisingly enough #3) Fire, 29.4 #4) Lightning, 28.7 #5) Wind, 28.2 #6) Earth, 25.7. That's all at level 5 and not including any bonuses. Also note that when looking at it from purely raw damage, the sniper and machine gun lightning towers actually deal out more straight up damage. The sniper tower only deals out a bit more than water, 32.4, but the machine gun actually pwns face at freaking 56.5 dam/tick, although if my calculations are correct triple damage effect for fire tower would result in 42.6 dam/tick on average, but with rather sporadic damage. So yeah, there ya go. I figured I'd share that just in case anyone else found it useful for any reason.

Why is there no "placement mode" (i.e. pause the action on the screen, but still have the ability to place and modify units)? I found not having this rather frustrating on the second level.

overall the game is ok for a tower defense, the only thing I really "hate" about this game is the annoyingly long levels. even at x3 speed I am still playing a level from 30-45 minutes at a time. Though, I've only played 4 levels so far, the strategy feels always the same. Build shrooms at cross roads, upgrade them quickly, add more shrooms, rinse and repeat. The skill points just makes it easier.

Really nice game, but the upgrade system is really annoying. It takes like ages to place a lvl5 tower with 3 gems. I would like to add purchased gems directly to the tower selected. I don't see why i should buy one and not directly use it. The deselect after upgrades is awful too. Just a suggestion for a sequel, cause I hope there'll be one.
Btw the relevance of skill points is too significant for me, the difference between almost golden and complete failure lies often in a lack of some skill points. Thanks to the valentine glitch no problem if you really want he badge.

My only complaint is that with 3/3 money over time you lose money if you call a wave early. (with 1/3 you still earn money, with 2/3 it doesn't matter either way)

Sorry but this is poor. 1) 45 long, tedious waves and no pause. What am I supposed to do if the phone rings? 2) The scrolling map's annoying. Just make the window bigger or the graphics smaller. 3) Tedious upgrade mechanics. Why can't I just drag a gem to a shroom instead of clicking on the shroom and dragging to the dialog box? 4) Only one kind of tower. Just build equal numbers of the different gems and you'll do fine. 5) Inflexible upgrades: you can't remove gems from towers to change their type. 6) The word "gomphus" is dumb. 7) You tell me a gomphus looks like a mushroom. Great, the map is already filled with things that look like mushrooms. So I can just build a gem and drag it to a... wtf? Now I have no money so all I can do is reload the game.

oh god the sounds are annoying, why do I have to get all the way into actually starting a level before I can mute it? put the mute button on the very first page.

For the tricks of the truffle badge, Earth + Water + Thunder = Instant Death; Earth + Wind + Thunder = Teleport; Wind + Fire + Earth = Plant Bomb; Earth + Water = Confuse.
Hope that helps...

a reset would be nice. i just put my first 2 towers in the worst spots because I was unaware of the path and the annoying scrolling.

if you're having trouble, here's a tip: start with upgrading five pure mushrooms to the max. one of each element. upgrade them in the order of the monsters' weaknesses. and as for the skills, level up the money over time for faster upgrading.

The rate that the difficulty that this game increases at is just ridiculous, getting past the first few levels was impossible for me without looking at a guide or having a friend tell me what to do...adds much frustration
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I don't like that the game just jumps in with no explanation or anything about what's going on/what to do. Also, the element affects seem random and I can't get rid of them once placed? Very frustrating..

The best strategy I have found, after the infliction badge, is to only make PURE mushrooms. Pure ones can reach level 6, which DOUBLES their attack. I make 5 normals at the start and keep upgrading them together to each of the 5 elements. Once those are all level 6, I make new level 6 mushrooms. Also, of course, make them where the road meets on BOTH sides to be able to hit at two different times. I'm on mission 6 with easy golds on each mission so far. BTW, don't apply the accessories that boost infliction with this strategy. Please + so others see. Thank you.
