nice game, interface could use some shortcuts to place gems in towers or upgrade without deselecting mushroom (or an upgrade max button that lets you upgrade several levels as long as you got enough cash for all upgrades)

Average rating of 4.03? How can people like this game? I came here for badges, but this game is so insufferably tedious I'm not even willing to get the easy one.

Sorry but this is poor. 1) 45 long, tedious waves and no pause. What am I supposed to do if the phone rings? 2) The scrolling map's annoying. Just make the window bigger or the graphics smaller. 3) Tedious upgrade mechanics. Why can't I just drag a gem to a shroom instead of clicking on the shroom and dragging to the dialog box? 4) Only one kind of tower. Just build equal numbers of the different gems and you'll do fine. 5) Inflexible upgrades: you can't remove gems from towers to change their type. 6) The word "gomphus" is dumb. 7) You tell me a gomphus looks like a mushroom. Great, the map is already filled with things that look like mushrooms. So I can just build a gem and drag it to a... wtf? Now I have no money so all I can do is reload the game.

Nice idea, but very poor execution. Too confusing trying to figure out where to put selected gems. "Drag to Glompus spot" WTF!? I dragged, and dragged, and dragged, losing precious time, and effort, and the gem wouldn't place. Right before losing the game, I FINALLY figured out that it meant you have to click on an existing glompus, and a new screen pops up. THEN you can drag the upgrade gem to the slot. 3/5 for this failure to explain, and for making the game too hard to work upgrades.

I can't think of this game as serious. Cause the music is what makes it adorably fun. Which is the main reason why I like this game.

Its quite annoying not being able to see much of the map at a time, and to have to keep scrolling gets a wee bit tedious! Great game, very challenging! Would be great, as the others have said, to have 3x speed a little faster. But a bigger view would be the best!

Is anyone else having trouble with the 'Tricks of the Truffle' badge? I got the teleport and instant deaths ages ago but I've been stuck on 18 bombs planted and 31 confuses forever. They don't ever increase even though I know I've been confusing and planting bombs. Refreshing doesn't seem to help either

I would enjoy this game, but it is EXTREMELY glitchy. I invariably end up stuck in the bottom left corner of the screen, unable to scroll up or right on the map. As you may imagine, this makes it nearly impossible to beat even the first level.

Y does the speed switch always reset to 1x after finishing a level ? Whould be nice if it remebered its previous state!

Really nice game, but the upgrade system is really annoying. It takes like ages to place a lvl5 tower with 3 gems. I would like to add purchased gems directly to the tower selected. I don't see why i should buy one and not directly use it. The deselect after upgrades is awful too. Just a suggestion for a sequel, cause I hope there'll be one.
Btw the relevance of skill points is too significant for me, the difference between almost golden and complete failure lies often in a lack of some skill points. Thanks to the valentine glitch no problem if you really want he badge.

it totally sucks playing a level for an hour only to die for NOTHING...makes it a little more challenging than most games. it's a fun game otherwise but could use a few improvements like a x10 speed button, don't die for nothing, and make the gem thing easier for people to understand, they're quite useful.

I would LOVEEEEEEEE this game if there weren't so many little glitches and if it wasnt so dang hard! I have been trying to complete world two for hours and am at the point where the only thing i want to do is shove my computer through a brick wall. Also, the whole gem thing, I guess it could have been a good idea but its just adds to the confusion. I feel better off buying 50+ normal mushrooms.

There should be a way to turn off the music permanently from the outside of the game...so that it stays off when you come back to play....

It´s really a good game, but can I save my acomplished levels?? or do I have to start all over again everytime?? (only my achievements are saved).

One of the easiest ways to get a bigger score is to increase your max lives. At the end of the level you get 2000pts x lives which adds up quite a bit towards your medal.
