Too bad the devs won't look at this, but I seriously raged WAY too many times through puzzle mode because it's pretty much still run mode and makes the game hard to concentrate when you're forced to run away from friggin wolves and rabbits all the time.

Zombies shouldn't have an area attack(besides the mushroom, since he explodes) as there are already too many of them to worry about(not to mention the mines). Really, the zombies everywhere and the narrow paths wouldn't be a problem, if it wasn't for this zombie attack pattern, since, if it was aimed at a specific square, i could lure them to attack one square and easily get them off.

Great game. I had some issues with it though. 1. Controls, sometimes she can't run on a straight line, sometimes(even with no mines around) she steps aside before going where i clicked.(which can lead to a zombie, or even a mine) 2. The zombie's attack, some of them have an attack animation that only ''attacks'' one square, but the actual attack affects all adjacent squares, this kinda kills a ''strategic lure''(like, when i trigger the enemy attack to one side, but then run to another adjacent square, just to distract him) since no matter where i am, he can hit me. And sometimes it can really ruin your game(like, if i have a 3 squares wide path and a zombie on the middle, i simply can't pass, since he can atack all 3 squares to his side. or specially on something more annoying, when i had my left and up covered by mines, and a wolf came from the right, i tried going down, he attacked to the ''left''(where i was before going down) but still hit me).

This game has really annoying controls, she's maybe drunk or something so that she can't move in a straight line. Also the board angle is also bad, i can barely notice the corners of the numbers due to the angle. Also if you put a mine correctly you get light balls, so you can just try all spaces till you hit the one that gets you points, no need for thinking. Overall the game is hard only for it's bad mechanics.

Careful the numbers are not always right. I've stepped on many a landmine beside a #1 that was already touching a known mine. When revealed, the #1 was touching 2 mines. Go slow and be careful.

lol to easy i completed the first lvl on puzzle mode in 24 seconds by just running contiuosly avoiding the ones i didnt even get touched lol

When the obstacle for a badge in a puzzle game is pure luck (100% clear does not equate 500 points always) I consider there to be a major flaw in the badge.

The hard part isn't the mobs... or the mines... it ends up being the mobs blowing up ALL the mines and you worrying about dodging them and hidden explosions around you from them

I like the twist to the classic minesweeper: with health points, powerups and enemies... but I can't sweep for shit if I have to worry about 3 wolves sniffing around me, besides of the sea of other enemies randomly walking into my path. This game is no fun with so many mobs.

For the flag happy achievement you dont actually have to mark mines just put down 20 flags and youll still get the achievement.

Run Like Heck for the hard badge. Then basically run up the map, without flagging anything, collect ammo (always safe squares), then at the top turn around and come back, doing the flagging and trying to tempt stuff into mines. Use shotgun on wolves - try to get at least two with each shell. You get points for each square revealed including numbers off the edge of the map.

@Thyraxus I agree; It's probably good thing that there is no backstory, since it would make about as much sense as the plot to a low budget horror film!

ANNYOING OVERALL
1)Zombies that pop right in your face, in the square you are heading to
2)Numbers hidden behind the scenery
3)Attack of the zombies - come on, why do they still attack you when you walk past them and change a square ? It should be square-aimed attack, not slippery one.
4) The number beneath an exploded mine should work just as the others - reveal surrounding mines, ignoring the blown one.
5)Transparent flags on blown mines - seriously, why make them even transparent ? it is much harder to see and annoying to take an overall look of the minefield with wolves chasing you...
6)No points for destroying zombies and combos... seriously, why make hoards of them in puzzle mode then?
I won't list wolves and narrow space here, because wolves are fair, having the lowest spawn rate, they are still not impossible to outrun and blow up, and narrow space... at least it has fewer mines...

Really need to fix wolf spawn. If one raises blocking your only clean square just as another is following you and other two recently died, that's way too many.
Wolves shouldn't know how to avoid mines anyway.

Fun game but the wolves are definitely a pain if you don't get the brain item or a lot of shotgun shells. I found best way to deal with wolves was if you get the brain to plant the brain on a mine wait til they are next to it then unclick it they still blow themselves up and you reuse the brain for the next wolf.

Some tips for hard badge: What I (personally) did was storm before the calm on the puzzle side, and when I had shotgun I would save it for when I was about to take a hit and couldn't escpa,e used the radar when I couldn't get out of the way in time and was about to take a hit, ad if I had to many zombies after me, I would run around mines if i had the room til they would explode. Try getting 100% completion. I did all that and got 569, so you should be fine.

Personally, I think Mines that get blown up after you mark them but still need to pass them should display the ACTIVE mines still around them I just get confused and end up dying cause I have no idea if it is including the ones around it, itself, before or after it exploded or what its just real irritating
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Good idea not so well developed. Mine counter isn't based on real mines so on puzzle levels you just have to place random flags to make an high score. On first puzzle level if you play correctly you just get 2 stars. Awful. -_-

Easy way to get hard badge: speed run lvl 4. Don' worry about the time, do a full clear. If you don't have enough points, keep running around untill the critters run on mines.

Tips for getting this game's badges. The easy badge is easy. Any level except for possibly the first level in each column will have at least 3 bullets in the stage, which will give you the 3 kills. The medium badge is even easier. Just use the trick SkyLe posted, and plant 20 flags anywhere. For the hard badge, you don't need to complete the level. As soon as you get 500 points, you'll be awarded it in the middle of a level. To REACH 500 points, make sure to explore everywhere. Even the dark squares you can't step on, if you get near to them so they would normally be revealed if you could step on them then they will give you points. You also get points for placing flags, and killing enemies, except for the mushroom enemies. Note that the first 2 levels in each column are definitely too short to get 500 points, and you'll only get 500 points in the 3rd levels if you are lucky. The 4th levels will easily give you 500 points though, as long as you don't die.

I wish I knew what the numbers mean "It tells you the number of bombs that are touching the square. This includes squares diagonal to it as well." WTF does that mean?????????

hey look, im almost done!*rabbit jumps into mine* thats fine, ive got 2 lives left...*bear runs into mine*well, that was weird, but ive only got on space left*mushroom explodes*...

really awesome game but it would be cool if puzzle mode was less action-oriented at times. i chose to play puzzle mode for a reason!
