@corkscrew: Click on the wrench icon in the lower right. There's a button in that menu that will take you back to the title screen!
Also, Thanks for all the great comments everyone!

since ZR is so well made and good looking, i will try to come up with a short critique: like most flash action games, it has two major drawbacks. firstly, the user interaction required is singlarly digital. secondly, the feedback provided by the game keeps me puzzling.
it is both too simple and too complicated,
so even as i am fascinating at the animation, the action is unplayable to me.

@RavehDaveh: There are a bunch of quality settings in the options menu that should help fight that lag you speak of. More likely it's those horribly unoptimized flash banner ads chewing up the cpu. I always r-click and set them to low quality before I play any flash game.

@funface:
Wow! A developer comment, awesome :). And yes - you may well be right. I'd meant that two would be in the zone simultaneously, not two fired simultaneously. So I guess it's possible that I just have to get better at it.

@BountyHunterSAx: The only way that can happen is if there is some type of lag that occurs, which causes the timing to glitch out. It's programmed to always allow a small delay between each shot, and if two are in the zone at the same time it always prefers the first one that entered when you pressa key. This was something I spent quite a bit of time on when developing it.
More likely, it just looks overwhelming when it's going so fast, and that makes it frustrating when you miss!

On advanced mode (terminal velocity) it's impossible to win at times since they send two simultaneous different colors - so no matter what you push it is considered wrong.
And my score is one of the highest legit scores.

Thanks Thystonius! Of course I agree too, but I believe games need to level out to a rating of around 3.8+ before being considered for badges :(

"do you actually create a star? "
...Only if you fill up all the zodiac signs around the outer edge. If you're pretty accurate, you can do it by level 12!
Thanks for all the comments too!

This game is pretty fun, but the difficulty curve is a bit too sharp for me. There are some minor control sensitivity issues, but that might be with my system. 4/5

Good god its Simon, the electronic memory game from hell. I can't play this for any length of time, it gives me something like a vietnam flashback, only with children's toys instead of the horror of war... Interesting game, but not for me. 3/5
