@ babytruck - This game is all about being at the proper level. If you are one level below an enemy, their damage will be about +50% and yours will be -50%. At two levels it gets worse, they will do about 100% more, while you do 1/4 the damage you should. Thankfully this goes the other way if you are above them in level, and they warn you if you enter a room with a monster three levels above you (+200% !!!). In short, get one for two levels higher than the level 7 uber-wolf and it will be a piece of cake.

Some tips: The compose number on the bottom of the item stats is the amount of enhancements you can add to the item..... focus on getting your drop rate enhancements increased first. If you can get it around 40 to 50, you can go to areas filled with slimes and make money and gems relatively quickly.... get your block and magic resistance up as high as you can, great damage nullifiers. Get damage %, defense % and crit up as high as you can, ..... poison weapons are good for leveling, as they sometimes cause an enemy to give you xp twice, but you want a thunder weapon later as it stuns.... check Susans shop everytime you go to town. She sometimes sells gems and soul stones. If you purchase the stones by dragging them onto your inventory screen instead of double-clicking, then they will refresh when you open the shop screen again. Good way to build up your inventory of those items.

Quick Guide: 1. Use Falchion (Blades coz they have high combos) 2. Buy crystals from Susan (Witch) over and over til you're satisfied by dragging them into your inventory, closing the shop, and open it again (the crystals will be there again, BUT DONT DOUBLE CLICK THEM TO BUY coz they wont reappear if you close/open the shop again) 3. If you're poor buy some +1 or +2 items from Gran (Blacksmith) or Chung (Merchant) 4. Get enough +HP/SP after each kill so when you do a combo after a kill you can quickly recover your loss HP/SP 5. Farm by killing a bunch of mobs you feel you're comfortable fighting at mass numbers for items to sell 6. Game is rather easy, just isolate your tougher enemies so others can't interfere 7. Learn how to compose your items! 8. Give this a ( + ) to keep it alive!

C A U T I O N ! When you have a weapon with, say, fire level 4 and you want to add a different elemental damage, the original element VANISHES. Weapons can have different bonuses simultaneously, but not different kinds of damage. There is no info on this in-game, so now you know. I ruined my best wepon that way :-( Also, the duplication trick will not help you secure your weapon since all copies of your weapon are collectively affected.

This game really is amazing. Considering it's a flash game it has a ridiculously high level of polish and attention to detail. The one thing I'd suggest would be to add a quick travel option where clicking on the map would automatically teleport you to a location if you've discovered it already. This would massively helpful and break down some of the tedium of running through the same places over and over. Other than that this game is 5+ stars, awesomely done and thanks for such a great free game.

If you are tired of dying and losing xp/gold instead of reviving in town, just save and quit to the menu instead, you will end up back in town without a teleport when you continue but you wont lose anything. + if helpful!

I really wish this game had duel wielding, so every time I used the Falchion Special Attack, I could yell "STARBURST STREAM!"

100% COMPOSITION SUCCESS TRICK
Have two copies of your game open tha way if you fail at composing in one window you can
just close/refresh that game and resave in the other game that didn't fail yet. If you don't resave
in the other window the last recognized save point will be from when you failed at the composition.
INFINITE ITEM COMPOSITION
There's also a glitch to get inifinite crafting slots; if you put the item in your bank and then quit the
game while the bank screen is open, it refreshes all the crafting slots on the items you put in your bank.

This game would be awesome with badges, but the one thing that annoys me about this game is that it takes awhile to level, and the quests you get are often much too hard for your characture at the time.

@leoleoleoleo you don't compose earth and wind crystals for drop rate. Brown and blue (earth and water) is drop rate for armor and accessories. Click the "?" button next to the "compose" button for a full composition guide. + to help other people who can't compose.

i would really like it if you could degrade crystals from medium to small or large or medium, or whatever... this game is UBER BEAST, i want some badges too, that would be a nice touch, 5/5

I don't know why but I just can't stop playing this! In arena mode you should be able to earn money and XP so people would do that more often and you shouldn't start with 0 health when you go back to story mode.

It was really fun for a while. It had this Diablo-like feel to it, which I loved, but now I just can't bear to continue playing. It just seems repetitive now. It would help if the areas were more level-intensive (i.e. less lower level monsters in higher level zones). I also don't appreciate having to walk 10-15 blocks just to get to the right questing zone, which you often have to do after you finish a quest, because the next quest is in the opposite direction, so the town portal you just used becomes useless.

just pointing out a bug here on the quest kill three green slimes the text showing how to attack and jump didn't go away until i finished talking with the mayor and that made it really hard to read what he was saying other then that this is epic

that weary old knight asked me to slay 20 lvl 7 wolves and it gaves me a leather gloves? thats just unfair... gimme your weapon instead!

i added level 1 thunder damage to a sword that already had lvl 1 poison. The weapon has compose lvl 5 and no other enchantments on it but for some reason it removed the lvl 1 poison. ? could anyone explain this pls i'm obviously not understanding the combine system properly.
P.S. to the developer a little "are you sure" pop up when you click combine in certain situations would have saved me a precious blessing stone.

it's like.... "YEAH! i found a chest!" then you open it finding nothing... you dig deeper and only find a scroll. not of town portal but really just a note telling you your not worthy of awesome loot or even mediocre loot. :/

ITEM DUPLICATION TRICK:
Note: you can look the trick up on youtube.com if you still don't understand.
Fist of all, you MUST HAVE a full inventory or this won't work. I suggest slowly buying
(click and drag them into your inventory rather than double clicking) mana potions from
susan. If you double click the potions they won't refresh when you talk to Susan again.
I also suggest that you have some potions in you 1,2,3 slots.
1) After you have a full inventory start composing with Susan.
2) Take an item that you don't care about losing and put it in a composition square.
3) Take the item you want to duplicate and put it where the other item was in your inventory.
4) Take a potion from one of your 1,2,3 slots and fill the space that was left by moving the item to copy.
5) Close the composition and inventory windows. If duplication worked you should see the item
sitting on the ground; to pick the item up move a potion back to your 1,2,3 slot to create a spot in your inventory.
