I understand the game is supposed to be hard, but it's only made more difficult by the sporadically-disappearing Blade Arm.

A great game, but a very hard one. Even on easy dificulty, it is still very hard. Expect to die moer than once. But a great game, awesome graphics, good controls, epic storyline, and sweet bosses. This is one of my favorite games on this site, and I hope they make a sequel. 5/5.

I've found a cheat! I was playing the first level over and over again just for fun, and so I got 100 exp after several plays. I spent that exp on the Fury Punch skill, so I could still attack the enemies on the ground. I did not have ANY other skills other than the Fury Punch at that point. So, I then slipped and hit the left arrow key while performing the Fury Punch, and I did a Turn Kick by picking up the guy on the ground and kicking him behind me. I didn't even have Turn Kick, and I did it anyway! This really works!

Why is this still rated three stars? I've been playing it for nearly a year now - it's the best game on Kongregate IMO, and maybe the best side scrolling beat em up I have ever played. If this was released on the SNES 15 years ago, everyone would remember it as a timeless classic by now.

I wish the enemies had less uninterruptible attacks that they could bust out from inside of my combos. Big guys i'm looking at you.

Just one thing... to beat last boss in 2nd form, hit him with flying kick (L+K), you will down him, then just ground and pound him, repeat process, and avoid all cost his bigger combos, at max health upgrades, these thingies are enough to destroy 80% of HP (normal mode) (S+J)

The game is a little confusing with the controls, probably since I'm not used to games that need more than "click" or "spacebar" to hit enemies with.. but it's still a fun game :) 4/5

The technique to this game is:make use of staggering atacks,jump to easily evade atacks,and more like keep atcking the enemy after it stood up.

The combat system is realy effective and fun. You've made a great game but my only complaint would be the cutscenes. The story is interesting but there should be like a next button to get to the next part. Because I realy dislike waiting because I've finished reading before the next bits popped up.

Lol this game kinda reminds me of a Ds Full metal alchemist game more then Devil may cry xP but great game i recomend most people to play it :D , Also there should be anouther one :O

Okay apparently I'm wrong about the EXP cost of the Green and Blue cans. There cost starts at 100 each then increases by 100 more per additional Green or Blue can you buy. And it seems buying items in the game (including blade arms) is a deduction to your level rating. And also, about those complaining about the blade arm disappearing, that's because it's not permanent, it has a durability indicated by a violet bar just below the gun arm's cooldown bar.
