Good game, good balance for the most part. Knights seem kind of terrible to me. So expensive, so vulnerable, so situational, so little opportunity to damage the enemy. Behold the awesome power of the wall. Its like a knight that doesn't make you cry when it dies.

Oh yeah here's a great way to really make a war level! If your having trouble just do this, Make layers of spikes except the castle's nearest 3 can be barracks OR try putting spikes first then anything!

Easy game IMO beat it prety fast. last level i did 3 rows or archers and a wall then knights then then last of them all spikes. just bolt when you can on dragons and cannon them up and keep up the walls and knights as much as you can while keeping dragons down mostly and fire cannons and or lightning in crouds.

Great game gave it 5/5 but when my laptop overheats I have to reload games so whenever you can't continue it's very annoying. Had to go over a couple of times. I am getting a new laptop.

For those who say the heal doesn't work, it's a spell that works like the other ones--you have to target it on what you wan't to heal and hold down the mouse button until it "fires."

@Apothekary There is a combo you can perform with the cannon and shotgun. Just hit shotgun-shotgun-cannon-shotgun-shotgun-cannon... you will literally annihilate just about anything with that combo. It bursts even the toughest guys down in just a few seconds.

The only complaint I have about this game (and it's not even a real complaint) is that the Shotgun is just so underwhelming compared to the other weapons and spells. But on the flip side, using the Canon on a huge skeleton wave is the most satisfying thing I've done all day!

On the final wave of final level, and I'm getting so close to maxing out all stats... last enemy on the screen... BOOM! Just enough XP to get max stats right at the end of the game :D

I found that the archer combo that BennyGreen used worked better than the spell combo that Krolan used. Although both sets are very effective I found that the archer combo allowed for a faster damage output and did not rely too heavly on the spells. All in all great game the slimes were a pain in the neck because of the speed with wich they move. Decent music and a good upgrade system, the options could probably use a graphics adjust. But overall I give this game a 5 out of 5 and favorite. Keep up the exellent work.

the game is waay too easy, though it has a lot of potential. if u ever gunna make a sequel, heres some thoughts: ditch the screen scrolling its kinda annoying, give the ability to get more stuffs, such as equipment, new bows and shites boughtable with stars and slap on some graphic changes for these too people always love it when they can change the character looks, expand the field, add choices of difficulty ENH each with different stars and make sure when people finish on H they got the stars from EN too, more levels, different characters, etc etc, overall 3/5.

I would suggest an increase in the amount of damage for head shots instead of a random critical chance. It adds another level of skill that I prefer in defense shooter games like this.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
headshots should have a higher crit rate.say your using the arrow and you have 2 points in bow crit, your crit chance is 4%.but if you hit their head,it could be something such as 6%.just a suggestion

I really had very little difficulty beating this game. I maxed out XP and Spikes very quickly, filling the ground with spikes and shooting arrows, next I maxed everything in champion other than shotgun, then I maxed archer. Once archer is maxed my field looked like 4 rows of spikes, 4 rows of archer. I rarely had issues with coins except (MAYBE) on the first wave, but even then, I rarely took damage, even with no HP upgrades.

+ If you think it needs to go faster or have a fast foward button. It's still a good game but 1 last thing only 10 levels please update the game so we have more levels to play. Otherwise really good game. 4/5 Stars

i hope you fix this if you have say the shotgun then equip it then reset your skills and don't buy it you will still have it equipped

I hereby unofficially name the Lightning spell as the "Pest Zapper". Every time there was a large horde of little creatures taking shots, the Pest Zapper would clear a good portion of them. Also, it is especially useful in clearing the drakes from the sky...the only flying enemy.
As for what I mainly used in the final battle(or at least the final wave), I used fully up-ed archers(4 columns), barricades(3 columns), Lightning w/ fully up-ed mana, and a full-duration ice ball(no damage need). I gained and up-ed Heal + cannon during the last wave, so they didn't factor until late. Knights are better, but they are more expensive than barricades. Any time I saw a large gathering, one bolt and sometimes an ice ball as well would usually clear it. Ignore the drakes until they are at least 1/3 of the way in. They don't harm troops and one bolt will weaken them enough for an easy finish, plus they're slow. By the wave's end, I still had 3+ columns of Archers. You can do it, fellow players! :)

And yes we got a winning combination. First 4 lines of spikes, then 1 line of knights and last 4 lines of archers. And of course only using shotgun is the best part :D

Alright, aside from the vertical difficulty leap on the last wave of the game, there are some other odd logic breaks in this game:
Skeletons bleed when injured. Why?
Archers never shoot up when confronted with dragons. Ever. Are they all descended from Megaman?
