I did it almost like you can read it in the other comments: Keep switchingbetween the first 3 hotkeys, upgrade only the "protector" and "Champion" trees, 1 line of pits 2 of spikes and the rest with archers. Just keep replacing archers if they get killed.(usually 1-3)

how to win the last level: max archer tree, continuously mash 3-2-1 hotkeys in order to kill the biggest enemies, master the 1st and 2nd trees and don't touch the magic one. put 4 lines of spikes, 1 of walls and 3 of archers.

Well that was quite fun, won on 10 with 4 rows of archers from castle and 3 spikes and far left all freeze. Spammed all three basic shots and ice on flaming titans, worked quite well for me. Thanks for the fun!! AHOY!

No problems till level 8. Solved level 8. Then 9 and 10 nightmarish. Not a very well balanced difficulty. Also during those mega waves it's very hard to find time to notice anything.

Upgrades: Champion-left cannon and archers (19), Protector spikes and coins (10), Champion shotgun and arrows (17), Protector health & regen (15); no Sorcerer. Traps: 3 rows spikes from left, then 5 rows archers from right. Keys: 3-1 for Cannon/Arrows, 2-1 Shotgun/Arrows. Kill suicide bombers and flame monsters before dragons unless dragon is
attacking castle. I lost 3 archers Lvl 9, none Lvl 10 (much less than when I tried using walls.) NOTE: Coins never collected themselves.

Ahh, 2013, back when we thought grinding was a good game mechanic because all the triple-A MMOs were doing it. Still, this was a fun game and I played it all the way through when I originally just intended to get the BotD. Not bad at all, definitely will keep this game in mind next time I'm bored.

For the last one. Try using 3 lines of archers 3 lines of baracades ice traps spikes. Then for the last wave switch out baracades with warriors.

BennyGreen and Krolan got it right. I maxed out arrow, shotgun, and canon, repeatedly alternating between weapons shot monsters down much quicker. On the ground, I used 1 frost ward, 1 row spikes, 2 rows more frost ward, 1 row barriers, 3 rows of archers. There are clearly multiple winning solutions!

My strategy for the last level was maxing archers, walls, and the freeze traps. I had 3 lines of archers next to my castle, followed by a line of walls, then 3 of freeze traps and at the front I had 1 line of traps. The only people that really needed to be dealt with were the dragons and elementals, the others were usually destroyed before, provided you shoot at them occasionally

If you guys want to grind for EXP easily, go to area 7 bridge, and set up 4+ pits/spikes near the castle, and let the game kill all the skeleton waves while you go do something else for a few minutes. This trick can work in some other early areas (not all because of early drakes/orcs or too limited start gold or few enemies) but works best in 7. Of course make sure your castle has high hp/regen and boost exp gain.

If the developer's still updating this game this game is ripe and ready for challenges/in-game achievements. Well-balanced and fun replay value.

Not sure what you mean by "internet app," but I just finished the hard badge on Chrome. Also, don't know if this game is on Kartridge, but I played it on Kongregate.

I'm having a hard time with this one. Every time I exit the game, it erases my data. I have to start over every time. With the amount of grinding required, it will be difficult to finish without having to, say, restart my computer at some point. Anyone else having this problem? Is there a solution? I couldn't find any way to export my save from within the game.

I noticed this game on the badge of the day listing, I had the easy badge way back in 2013, but had never gotten the hard badge, so I thought I'd go for it. Come level 8, all my hotkeys weren't working and manually switching was losing me the fight, so I looked around and saw no way to reset them or fix them in game, so I figure they worked before a page refresh might fix it. And it's gone... I'm back at level 1 on stage one, no other file to load, it just didn't save or anything! I see why I never got that hard badge, and never will!

Things this game did not need: For the screen to move around as the mouse moves.
Take that out and this game goes from 2.5/5 to 3.5/5. Annoying.

WHAT?! LMAO my base was completely intact. i killed the final enemy on the wave and my base collapses and i get a defeat screen.... IT WAS AT 100% HP LOL omg :x
