better than average spelling game, challenging but not to much, at times it can be frustrating but when you play the level again it goes smoth. so i will say 4/5, not the best game out there but among the great

The game tells me to check the "word of the day", today its "summerize"... and it`s not a valid word, like many others. Feels like the games dictionary is very limited.

I just think the cannon should be better placed, since I just can't shoot at the spiders that are running away with my files since there are so many in lower lines in such a way that the shots just keep hitting the wrong targets. If not for that, it would be 5/5

use the word 'uncopyrightable'. it is the longest word in the english language, which does not repeat a letter. Theres 26 letters in the alphabet, and the word 'uncopyrightable', uses 15 of them.

Also disappointed to find CRETACEOUS didn't work either. So this game can shove it for not believing in geological epochs!

So I was trying to figure out how the transmutation works, and I finally got it!
You simply have to drag the letters on to the green part, not into the grid underneath it!

So glad that is over. Fantastic addictive game. Wish there was an Impossible badge ( complete 120 levels ) Mix of iron brass jade A E R S T H D - That's all I used. Very easy. You can use something like scrabblecheat.com to get good words, trick is to type those 7 letters TWICE, you get a heap of long easy to type words from AERSTHDAERSTHD. Then add S,ED,EN,ES,ING,ENED to words that contain ONLY those 7 letters, but you want words 6-10 letters long, POWER. Enjoyed & rated 5*'s

A Permute button would be extremely useful for cases when you want to use a lot of letters (like all 8 in the tanks), but you're stuck and can not come up with any sensible word as you stare at them. Reordering them would help in these cases, and now the only way to do this is to type the letters and then hit Esc, as it rearranges them in the tanks.

This was an easy 5/5 from me; I usually give 4s and 3s. It could make a GREAT party game; fire it up, sit your best typist down, rotate people aiming the cannon, everyone else brainstorms words. Suggestions for authors: imposing upkeep for words in storage (extra for specials) and bonuses for variety could temper the strategy of putting 3-4 high-damage letters in the boiler and nothing else. And of course, there seems to be interest in other languages. :)

Since when "Texas" is a word and "Latin" is not? There are so many things it doesn't register. Well, it is quite stupid for a machine so intelligent. On a side note "Coming soon" in a nine years old game.

I like the concept, but it's way too much of a grind. I'm on level 18 after hours of playing with just two brass letters.

As many others have said, it's pointless saying there's a bonus for word of the day on dictionary.com when said word is not recognised as a real word.

Still one of the best games to play to get the brain rolling. It's genuinely fun, wonderful and very unique idea, and even fun to play with people watching since having more people pooling words can be helpful.

You can actually use words multiple times, as long as it isn't still on your used words list, which is 20 words long. So, you could try to get your boiler filled with letters commonly used in the numbers one through twenty (e, t and n are by far the most common, next to those are i, v, f, h, o, r and s (there are more, but they barely appear in those words)), and type a series of one through twenty, one more word, and start all over again. if you've got problems with english, this just might help you a bit!

I like defenestration and floccinaucinihilipilification. And fribble, and frutiscent. If you are bored, or want to be entertained, look up these words.

First badge of the day since I started at kong that I simply have to give up on... I'm neither a native speaker nor fast at typing...

The typing space is too small for "hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia". "Antidisestablishmentarianism" fits in though.

This is my favorite word game. I've known and played this game from time to time for years... The design, idea, music - everything is amazing and near perfect.
