the removal of "dirty" words is a pain in my [dirty word removed], particularly when I am in a crunch for time and a word I expect to be accepted is not. a more elegant solution would be to accept all words, and omit the "dirty" ones from the ticker

There's a system that nullifies damage for words already used, but the game only keeps track of the last 20 used words. So all you have to do to beat the game is to craft a dictionary of at least 21 words, type it until the end and repeat. Works particularly well with Ragnarr's strategy (filling your boiler with just F, L, and Y). Dictionary could use an update but is actully a great game once you get into it and upgrade your letters using the boiler...even for a slow typist and poor speller like me. Sucks you in as much as any shooter when you get to higher levels - you really start to panic at times!

The targeting system is too random. I end up with the spiders returning with the notes with every spider on the screen at half health. This gets very frustrating since if the targeting system locked onto the farthest spider or even a random spider it would be much easier.

Yesterday's Word of the Day was "bole" and I couldn't get past level 8. Today's is "concertina" and I'm doing much better.

When you're italian, and find yourself racking points with words such as polymorphism, peripheral, juvenile and primal, you'll notice that english dictionnaries are made of latin-rooted words.

A lot of combined words missing such as watermill or firewall. Daycare is not accepted either. I wonder which dictionary this game uses.

Amazingly addictive, but the evel of difficulty is too hard, especially for somebody that has to look at his keyboard to write.... Stuck at lvl 8 for like 3 hours now.

Damn this is hard because I speak Spanish most of the day even though English IS my native language. It's spelled 'negotiation' in English, not 'negociacion'! Great game!

It would be nice if certain proper nouns were included (countries, nationalities etc), but overall a great game. I kind of wish there were more comics through out the game, but not a big deal.

This game is challenging! I type slowly and english is not my mother tongue! How to beat level 40? Manage to keep in the boiler the letters “I N G L Y” (3 iron, 1 jade and 1 brass each) plus about 5 other iron letters. Then focus on using only adverbs with –ingly suffix. Words don’t need to be too long, they only need to match with the letters in the chambers. Among the existing adverbs (according to dictionary.com) few are recognized by the game (left my list as a shout in my profile). Very clever game! 4/5

Here's my tip: don't look at the spiders; just look at the letters and keep typing. Looking at the spiders will only distract you and make you more nervous and make it harder to think of new words.

The game is very enjoyable, and unique idea. :)
I agree with the many prvious players like me whose mother tongue is not the Neglish. No way i ever get the Hard badge. :) It's okay, i understand because this is an american game, for americans. But that, the Kong gives the Badge of the day, for this hard badge is pretty unfair, and ignores the many non-English speaking players. I know we are a small proporion of Kong's players, but i feel a little bit troublesome.
