It almost makes you think that the game is rigged to the cpu. The reason being is because when it's the easiest difficulty and you are winning by a landslide, the cpu will get amazing rolls and win... Such bull!

I can roll 1s all day when it's time to choose who goes first, but ask me to roll one during the game and it won't happen.

Coarse/Smooth/Tight Finish awards are for winning by at most 200/100/50. Dropping Baton/Scraping Barrel/Scrapping Knuckles are for losing by those margins.

I wish there was an adequate description of each "award" so that you would know what to shoot for. Too bad Gaby isn't around to fix that. RIP Gabs!

Nah. Game cheats. Whatever algorithm the game is using isn't up to par. How many times have you played cautiously against "Reckless"? If you notice he rarely busts when rolling 3 die or less and you will bust many times over even rolling four. It's a fun game though. I just wish the computer didn't have a 'leg up'. My guess is the computer knows beforehand which dice to pull and what it will roll.

To the people complaining about the game being rigged: The reason why the CPU seems to frequently role outrageous scores in the final round when you have reached >10,000 is that regardless of the CPU personality, it will switch into a much more reckless mode, and continue rolling until it has achieved a higher score than you. This increases its chance of going bust as well as its chance of scoring well over 3000 in a turn. Keep in mind that even with 5 dice "locked", there is still a 1 in 3 chance of the computer rolling a 1 or a 5 and getting a free roll. If this happens to you multiple times, it might seem tempting to blame it on the game, but really it's most likely bad luck.

My current record against Realist is 359-245, and I do even better against the other AIs. Don't just get bad luck in a few games and assume it's rigged. It hasn't been uncommon for me to lose several games in a row, but if the AI was that artificially lucky, it's very unlikely I'd have that good of a record with that kind of sample size. Admittedly, I'm a better player than the computer, but this is still mostly a luck game. For everyone bitching about the lucky computer, there's someone else who wins and doesn't bother posting about it. I have a degree in math, and I'm considering getting a master's degree in statistics, and I just don't see any evidence of a luck discrepancy. If you play a few hundred games and don't come out with a winning record, you're probably just not playing as well as you could be.

Probability says: the cpu has been far luckier than the player, fact. Now let's take a positive spin out of this, we're being so unlucky on this game to the point we'll run out of bad luck completely and we'll actually get good stuff when we go play something else.

Oh yeah, and just as I said that last comment; I'm up by 2.1k, at 10k on the mark. On the last roll cautious gets 3 free rolls in a row and beats me 11100 to 10k, moments after I literally said to myself "there's no way they're going to beat me here. This time I'm finally going to win. I'd lose my damn mind if they freaking somehow pulled this off". Well, I lost my mind. I'm leaving. Screw this. I'd say screw the developer too for making such an ungodly frustrating game, but they're already kinda dead, so I suppose I'm not allowed to say anything mean about them.

This bullshit is rigged man. Rigged. I play EXACTLY the same as cautious, and yet it beats me every time. Last game I was like "Alright, well I'm up by about 3k, only 600 more to go to win, this should be no problem". Well, it was a problem. It's cool, because the game before that the computer scored 5k in one turn then 2.5k in the next, leaving me at 2.9k points and him at 9.7. I was honestly tempted to pull out a pad of paper to record rolls in order to definitively determine that it was rigged, but then I realized I'm being a god damn lunatic and stopped myself.

That reclkess is way too lucky, 5 games and i've seen him score a 1 to 6 4 times and 2 nothings to get that free 500 points and rerolls. Winning is hard when the reckless cpu is more careful than it should.

Seeing as you can't delete your own comments, I'd like to note that Realist is selecting one die and rerolling, which the player can also do- not getting the full score for both dice while taking one, which is what I was assuming. Feel free to downvote my prior comment.

So annoying when you're beating Reckless by two or three thousand, and he defeats you by shear idiocy. I think the universe just can't bring itself to hurt someone so utterly helplessly stupid.

Just won two consecutive games in four rolls or less. Players get amazing rolls, too. If you think this game cheats, you're full of it. Please read the developer's comments and think about them.

Solid time waster, but just like every other luck game, too many players with unfounded conspiracy theories that the game is rigged.

This game has EA syndrome. It suffers from catch-up, when the computer is far behind, they will get favorable rolls in order to make the game "exciting." I've been playing this game for years with real dice, and complete blowouts are quite common, while a come-from-behind is not, and this game would have you thinking otherwise. Good, but needs to stop cheating in order to supposedly make the game fun. 3/5
