Pure chance. Barely any skill involved. Seems like the AI is a little too random to the point where they do get many pairs in a row.
Also commiserations to the family of the deceased.

Single five, single five, single five, single five, single five, zilch. And then reckless wins in seven turns, having zilched twice.
This is why I hate luck-based games. The animations are nice, and the interface is good with the exception of no award descriptions or options. I dunno, it is what it is. 3/5

the key to getting the awards is planning out your wins and losses, so you don't end up breaking a combo streak or repeating awards.

this game is so infuriatingly addicting. It always seems as though the computer is out to get me but I cant stop myself coming back to it.

Good game. Easy to play but the RNG rolls are very unballanced as always when using the build in Flash player random % roller.
Played 5 games and always ended short by just a few hundred points playing on mid difficulty.
Last game I got 5 zilches in a row always after taking just one dice. That's an astronomical low chance right there.

R.I.P gaby you made one hell of a game that i can keep coming back to again and again and i always still enjoy it so much, thanks for being such a great game designer.

This game made me realize something very important about myself today. I am very unlucky when it comes to dice games. ugh Last Turn me-11000 points Reckless- 4050
Final Score- Me-11000 Reckless- 12150

don't you just love it when you get one 1 as your only option on your first role and on the second roll get zilched
don't you just love it when you proceed to get the same thing three times in a row and now lost the game after a steady lead
DON'T YOU JUST LOVE A GAME THAT CAN MAJORLY SCREW YOU OVER

OK, tip to become a more rounded player. Play a couple of games where every turn, you keep going until you zilch. Try to get the most points before you zilch while getting a feel of how far you can push any single turn. Right after I did this, my games became much tighter. I am losing one or two turns now instead of 7 or 8.

Computer is a Cheating Bastard trope at its finest. When you take a risk, you get punished with zilches. Then the computer gets 3 full-clears in a row... gg

To the people complaining about the game being rigged: The reason why the CPU seems to frequently role outrageous scores in the final round when you have reached >10,000 is that regardless of the CPU personality, it will switch into a much more reckless mode, and continue rolling until it has achieved a higher score than you. This increases its chance of going bust as well as its chance of scoring well over 3000 in a turn. Keep in mind that even with 5 dice "locked", there is still a 1 in 3 chance of the computer rolling a 1 or a 5 and getting a free roll. If this happens to you multiple times, it might seem tempting to blame it on the game, but really it's most likely bad luck.

APPARENTLY, quitting games doesn't count against you. So getting multiple zilch free games or wins requires cheating the system.

OK -at 92 awards I was reset to 0 awards and achievements. Fine, I'll start over. I now have 16 total wins and 6 total losses = 22. Total losses to reckless, cautious and realist = 54. Something is broken here!

cool game. I like how they give you your options so you dont have to memorize the combinations which makes this game very simple. Easy to understand, easy to play. I recommend this game for someone who is bored, having nothing to do, or just dont want to think. 4/5 excellent.

I am aware that true randomness does not feel like randomness to people, and this game may simply suffer from that effect, but I feel like it is simply programmed to be utterly unfair. The medium badge is awarding points to those who can resist the desire to toss their computer out the window long enough to obtain it :-P
