As someone who hates RNG games... I don't know why I thought I would even remotely enjoy this experience :(. Lessons learned for me. I can see why some people would like it.

To this day this is still the best version of this classic dice game available on any digital platform. It was, and will remain, an excellent piece of work, one that other game developers should look to emulate.

I don't normally like luck based games, but for some reason this is a lot of fun and well designed, it's next to impossible for me to say I'm having fun while I'm on a learning streak, the guy did something right, RIP my friend 5/5

@XcoreGamer That happens because the computer is only taking one 5 in order to have an extra die to try and get some thing higher like a 1. I use this tactic all the time.

Rest In Peace, Gaby. Though I barely knew you, you had a wonderfully addicting game. None like it in all my 5 years on Kongregate. May the trolls get their comeuppance.

It's too bad this game will never get updated ever again because it could really benefit from some sort of save feature.

Also, does anyone else keep going to the main menu and it glitches and just shows the wood of the table? Like it froze or something?

I find Reckless hardest because quite often his "reckless" decisions turn out to be advantageous. The other two are more predictable and as such, easier to adjust to.

There's nothing wrong with the mechanics or probabilities but to anyone trying to complete the awards, realize it is an exercise in futility. If the dev would have looked into probabilities for a minute, he'd have understood why so many end up hating the game.

I've had it with this. The mechanics are bugged. I think they weighted the die probability to make the game more interesting. For example, when I'm behind, I notice I get the big points more often, and when the CPU opponent is behind they get the big points more often. I was just ahead for a whole match and only rolled 1s and 5s for points; "Reckless" kept zilching away his points and then racking in 1500 and 2000 on the first roll. Doesn't work for my strategies. Shameful defeat. Well, I've got my pride to defend... it's rigged!

I often come back to this game, thought i'm still far of the Kilo-Zilch achievement i aim for my hard badge... Today, statistical miracle ! 6 One in a row ! 1 on 46656 ! 8000 points for the combo and a Reroll :)

The fact there are different "Difficulties" on a game supposedly based on luck suggests to me it's not about luck and that it's designed to piss me off.

this game has major flaw like icecold said u can be ahead by 4000 points and loose the game it has happened to me way to many times for it to be just dumb luck it sucks

@BunnyMatt ... the mathematical likelihood of that having happened is so astronomically low that it makes much more sense to simply not believe you. In conclusion, QUIT LYIN' LIL DUDE

People, stop complaining that the dice are rigged. They aren't. Gaby even posted the source code and explained in a blog post how the CPU players work. You can find the links at the Kong wiki Zilch page. If you play long enough you'll see for yourselves that it's possible to get some of those wonderful rolls - it's just the luck of the draw.

I think there is a slight skew of probabilities for higher difficulties. The medium opponents has gotten 6-10 of the 1500pt roll where as I have zero. I had gotten several against the easy opponent. I could also just be extremely unlucky, but it seems the opponent gets the high scoring rolls when they are "needed."

Unlikely does not mean impossible. There is a chance, no matter how small, for ANY configuration of dice to occur. You just notice the ones that end badly for you more and ascribe it to the game "cheating" when actually, it's just probability.

To everyone who claims this game cheats. This is a game of probability, I've played this with actual die and yes you can get a ziltch with five die, its not common but possible. Now its also possible as I've seen once to get 10,000 or more on a single turn, also not likely but possible. If there is a probability of something happening then it will happen with enough chances.
