There's already a sequel "Matrix Pandemonium" check it out on Gamebrew.com! Fight a neo clone, ghost twins and sentinels!

There needs to be a point. Either boss battles or some sort of RPG system so that you can level up. After a while it just gets boring.

Ekim, you're kind of gay.
Anyway, this game is alright, the mechanics and controls work nicely, but it gets boring and there's nothing to accomplish. 3/5

This game is awful in by opinion. It is literally infinite, it is so easy - you just go and go until you get bored. Though it is not bad enough to warrant a badge.

Should be able to customize controls. WASD for directions is pretty much the standard nowadays. Also, runs unnecessarily slow for such a simple game.

Great game, a storyline would really help though, because it's the type of where you wanna play until you die, then when you do, it's just like "Meh, Imma go play somethin else now." But still, great game, love the graphics, and I wish I could make a game where the enemy was that generic and stuff lol.....

Actually I think the subject was poor, while the technical execution was very good. The destructable environment combined with the ability to interact with almost anything at hand makes for very interesting engine.
Note to the creater: When you slap the Matrix label on anything, it generates certain expectations. Go with your own idea, even if you keep the sprites, just drop the matrix bit and this would probably be rated even higher.

I feel bad for being so negative but this game should not have the Matrix label on it at all!! Nothing in this game shouts Matrix and I wonder if the creator even saw the movie.
The fact that you can shoot agents with a pistol is very lame
Neo needs kung fu and "Neo" skills like flying or super fast dodging

it gets hard on level8 when the agents start ganging up on you and you cant move. it would be nice if there were more variety.

My main problem with the game was the controls were kind of clunky and hard to use. Though I would love to see some more variety too! (3/5)

This is a great concept for a game, just needs more of just about everything (more combos, weapons, enemies, scenery, attacks)

I was bored by level two... Change scenary, a little more weapns, different bad guys, more combos, different difficulty levels, and maybe a couple of power-ups and you got a great game... but otherwise good game
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
it's great, but it needs variety, not just increasing difficulty, maybe bosses or special combo moves earned somehow?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
entertaining for about 5 min, then it gets really boring, just kinda doing the same thing over and over again, no real challanges or anything

Definitely reminds me of Elevator Action for the NES, which was a classic. I agree with renny about the levels thing, it would be great to see some different buildings or other level ideas, to add variety. It would make this game (which is quite good) even better.

It're pretty polished and there's lots of cool ideas here, but their needs to be way more variety. Even different levels would be a good idea, more of a side-scrolling beat 'em up. As it stands now the game is too repetitive for extended play.

I saw this game on NG front page for a long long time, but this is the first time I took the time to play it. Very nice.
