day 17 pisses me off. too many enemies at once = huge lag = gang rape. tried to beat it about 50 times, can't do it. maybe if it wasn't for the lag I could, but I think there still would be too many enemies.

The first shotgun disintegrates the first boss.
By disintegrate I mean making him disappear and then bugging your game out since he didn't really die.

when you found the weapon guide book, keep pressing next until the last weapon, then keep pressing next several times and you will get the CHEAT! then keep pressing next for easter egs. + this so everyone can see this!

Very cool - though as has been noted, the boss fights are a problem. Hard is fun; I like hard. Impossible, however, is not so good. If you end up on the boss without the appropriate weapon and have no money to buy it.. time to restart your game. I'd recommend an option to redo the previous level, since there needs to be some way to earn money if you can't kill a boss.

Finished the boss with female footsholdier and god of war shotgun. Currently stuck on day 25. I'm using the best assault rifle but once i get touched by the yellow birds i'm as good as dead.

If you seriously want to make the first boss less frustrating decrease his projectile speed and movement speed to the point that at least a commando without speed upgrades can dodge him.

Really nice game, but there's one really big problem mentioned before.
Everything was quite fine for me until day 17. Now on lowest graphic settings, with more enemies on screen at once, lag doesn't allow me to play and not die. I got laptop 1,9 GHz athlon dual, 1,75 GB RAM and not so bad graphics as for laptop.
There must be some way to optimize the code to aviod this lag. I programmed in C++ and C#, a little PHP, javascript, dunno how it is in flash. But... you could try to do something with this. In other games of this kind, with even better graphics, I didn't encounter such lag problem. Still good game, 4/5 from me.

You're tip to use the sniper rifle against the first boss is pretty useless since that weapon costs 16K - and since you don't get any money at all if you fail to defeat the boss it's impossible to buy that weapon if you're stuck on that level...

Not able to upgrade armor. Cannot sell guns. Too weapon dependant and instakill bosses. Not able to replay levels for money to buy the needed weapon for boss level. Only a few monster types.

The first boss is not that hard. I had the most expensive assault rifle (annihilator) and ran in circles around it like you do with all these video game bosses that can't aim at a moving target :)

A 5 second+ slowing effect in a shooting game? You must me kidding me. That's called an *instant death* effect. Why not simply make these yellow things do 100 damage? That would be exactly the same.

Was fun until I got to the first boss, and can't pass it. It kills me no matter what before I can take off 25% of his health. I'm using an assault rifle, and was hoping to save up for the best one, but since I'm stuck on the boss and can't make money, that won't happen. And with no ability to edit anything, i've lost about 95% of my interest in this game because of it. 3/5

So, I was about to write this game off as poorly designed thanks to the rather silly difficulty curve and the bad boss execution. There are flaws here, sure, but the melee weapon trick for the final boss is a masterstroke. If there were more "right weapon for the circumstance" puzzles in the game, it'd be an instant classic.

The game is fun considering everything... The only real offense is the lag is unbearable at times when more than a few standard enemies are on screen. Great Job on this enjoyable labor!

How about instead of increasing the amount of enemies each round to massive lag inducing amounts, you increase their health?

i give this a 3/5 the game is good, but my computer is relatively decent for kong games and i lag when theres too many units, also when you finish the round often there is still enemies left over, and finally the first boss is impossible to beat, even with cheats

real balance issues but not unbeatable - note on the final boss medium sized circles around him make him miss alot while basicly spinning in a circle trying to shoot behind you. now a note for the dev itd be nice if there was something for kill streaks there is an achivement but i mean a gold or xp modifer, can even be a perk that needs to be bought - example blood orb increases gain from kills by % for x level of kill streak or something.
