@Thunderbolt this game was about German WWII efforts at bombing UK island with zeppelins. There was no mortars around, as allied fleet was superior in the area.

At level 24 we should still earn experience for each battle we win or beat our previous high score on.

mvmlego, go back and complete any 2 levels except the first one. I believe the rating is the number of stars obtained on each level. So 5 stars = rating of 18?
Silver: "You have won all battles with a rating of 14 or more."
Gold: "You have won all battles with a rating of 18."

Freak,finally got that impossible badge,took much more time that it should to get it.|Hints:For Elite Campaign,start focusing on your main flak,and for the first boss fight get at least 2 armor upgrades.After that,buy the triple cannon,winged bombs,repair buildings etc. It will take 3-4 hours if you do everything right.|Fuel of War:The easiest one of the three.Just focus on your main flak,armor,score and winged bombs and everything will be fine.|Thunderstorm:The hardest one for me.Focus on main flak as usual and then buy winged bombs,armor,repair,balloon blast score and starting score upgrades.On like the half of the game,try to place at least 3 thunder globes per level,because the things get really hard from there and don't forget to always use winged bombs when you are on trouble.The impossible badge is basically it,gg,gl and don't expect to get that thing is below 10 hours

mvmlego,the game doesn't have this kind of career badge,the missing one is just to "discover all the covert operations of the enemy" basically,you have to get 5 stars on everything around the secret balloons zones,unlock the 3 battles and beat all of them

Does anybody know how to get the silver or gold career badges of the type, "You have won all battles with a rating of X or more"? What's the "rating" that it's talking about? I've got 5 stars on each of the missions, and I think that's as high as you can go.

I have to wonder why the 10 million point requirement is part of the Impossible badge... I'm at 9.1 million points on Thunderstorm and I still have 10 levels left to complete.

But again, there is lebigouden's strategy, where you use freeze cannons, triple cannons along with points in damage, accuracy, and reload.

For the first boss level, use bombers and support fire against the big balloons and don't take damage so that when the boss reaches you, you can survive it once and have enough time to kill it. I'm not sure if the that one point in building armor affects it or not.

Tips:
Upgrade Winged bombers. Faster bombers mean quicker death to big balloons.
At the very beginning, use the points for shell damage. Upgrade the main flak cannon and winged bombers. Once, you feel comfortable, start getting the building stuff.
Use the special airstrikes when you are low on ammo or overwhelmed with balloons.
For me right now on elite, it's more of an endurance game.

i would gladly use strategy if it wasn't literally impossible to out-damage the boss before he reaches you so as of now i guess i'm grinding

highly irritating game that is ridiculously imbalanced in favor of the AI. In addition, the need to replay levels to pay for upgrades makes the game too long and grinding.

Got to the first boss, quit the game. I have no interest in grinding for hours in order to beat the 1st boss. Shame too, the game design is nice. The difficulty curve is not. I even tried it on EASY and it won't happen.

Winged bombs and Airstrike souldn't be luck based. One tiny balloon gets through both of them combined to the end of the map unharmed almost all the time because I'm so unlucky, wiping out most of my badges. (I use no flak upgrade, so I'd hit negative damage with it)

The impossible badge is long rather than difficult. Getting the 10mil score does not really require extra effort. Be prepared to hold your mouse down and send reinforcements constantly for the next few days of your life.

If they give this endurance badge the impossible difficulty then they should review some hard badges from games like Gemcraft or Papa's Pizzeria.

To get BOTD, you had to FINISH the requirement before the day hanged at Kongregate. (which I believe is Pacific time, USA)
