Random gem type when creating gems makes for a huge annoyance the more gem types that can be created. I'm glad they fixed that bad game design in the later gem craft games, but in this instance I simply cannot stand it.

Note: The experience system in Gemcraft works based on your HIGHEST score in each mode of each level. For example, let's say your high scores in a level are currently 400k in Normal, 500k in Heroic, and 600k in Arcane. If you redid all these modes and got 600k on all of them, you would only get 200k exp on Normal, because your new score is only 200k above your last high score. Likewise, you would get 100k exp for Heroic, and no exp for Arcane because you didn't beat your high score. In other words, it is almost always better to complete new modes and levels than to redo old ones for better scores.

That's one very hard and lenghty game. Too bad I do not have enough patience for these anymore, 'cause this is a good one.

Easy way to get XP. Play endurance mode on any map. Don't build anything, just lose and you will get 300 XP in medals, 900 if it is a blue mission.

Range and attack speed bonus from pure/double gems doesn't work for me. Is it this way only for me or is it for everybody?

I think that this is my favorite GC game. It is much better than the first one in anything about game mechanics, but it is also not (overly) sophisticated like GCL and GCCS.

I got the "This is the Game that Never Ends" Badge on wizard level 67.
Hope it can be a reference of when you can get this badge...

A great game, especially if you have time to spare. This game takes ages to finish, but all the more satisfying when it happens. If you're still there after 3 weeks that is.

I love this game, I keep coming back to play it - and when I do, I spend hours, and hours, and hours on it. I would really, really love to buy this game on Steam someday. You guys should totally try to pitch it to them - because this game is amazing, and I would pay you 10 bucks for it easy.

I get a ton of comfort from these Games. Thank you so much, because I really feel good listening to good music etc. and playing a challenging Defense-turret with nice design... Beautiful Design.

They say you become a wizard when you hit 30 and are still a virgin. I say you become a wizard when you beat level 78 on Gemcraft.

Why my score disapeared from the All Time highscore?
I had a 2.5 billion Highest score reached in one level which disapeared. WTF?
