This game series is a true work of art and an innovation of the idea of tower defense games. That sentence does not do justice to this game. 6 stars

I wish you could search the comments, I was wondering if anybody said anything about grade 2 looking like an or gate symbol yet.

I know that this is an old game, and not as cool as it's newest descendant, Gemcraft-Chasing Shadows. But it is still a fun, challenging tower defense game. Not the best game for occasional one-offs, but if you like working on your own strategies it's lots of fun.

Great improvement on the gemcraft series, although for gems like armor reduction, it'd be great if you had a tower option that shifts priority to "enemies not yet hit" to equally spread the stat reduction

@ElDoradoMali : On the lower-right corner of the window are you elemental gems, click on one (for the 1st level, yellow for multiple damage gem and green for poisonous gem) and click on a square under your elemental gems to create it, once it's created move it to a tower already built. Then start the wave of monsters and let your gem shoot them.
Hope that helps. :)

While I love this game, the mana regen was pretty low. I made it through most of the game with a blood gem level 6 or level 7. Once you get blood gen level 6 or level 7 with 2 tower amplifiers you can pretty much leave to go get coffee and the gems will win the level without you.

Constan - yes, but I had been avoiding swarm because they kill me. I've now adjusted my strategy to suit them (many towers spread out, as opposed to one super power tower) and I can do it now. Thanks mate.

How the hell are you supposed to do the challenges like 7,000 kills in a single battle? I got like 1,700 and that was around 150 waves. Do I really have to manage over 600 waves?!

I loved this game, came back playing it every other day, until I lost all data while backing up my pc. Otherwise I'd love to complete it but it's a long way now. :(

Ah, you guys don't have to switch to their website. If you're using Chrome, go to where it says plugin blocked and choose run all plugins. It takes a couple of seconds (a reload might be necessary sometimes) but it'll start showing the premium version again.

I went to http://gameinabottle.com/gcl.php as suggested. Sure, the premium edition is there for free, but I would have to start completely over. No more level 448 for me, apparently.

My premium edition was working at noon today Pacific Standard time, and now it no longer works. What's up with that??? I bought the premium edition a couple of years ago and have had no problem up until now.

The dev used GamerSafe for paid content support (premium) - which shut down sometime this month. http://gameinabottle.com/blog/2017/02/gc-labyrinth-premium-is-free-to-play-now-on-gameinabottle-com/
The game (with premium) is now avaible here: http://gameinabottle.com/gcl.php

I paid for the premium edition with kongregate credits a while back. I've cleared my browser data a few times since then. It says I no longer have the premium edition. Do I have to buy it again... because that's not worth it.

Number One Wish: that you could set gem priority to "HIGHEST HP"
stop shocking/poisoning the same target repeatedly you useless traps!

The rain and storm background music is really relaxing. I have used it for sleep and meditation. This game really tires my brain out as I keep unconsciously trying to optimize everything.

love the game in general and alot better then the old luck based gemcrafting and boring maps this creates a very diverce form that fits the theme of a maze perfectly

I miss how in the first game, it let you raise the lower gem creation and combination cost without limiting it pet level you go up. the cost to do things with gems is way too high at the start to have real fun with it.
