@GirolamoR: Are you the only one seeing a black screen? I'm saw a "Play" button when the game loaded, and after clicking the button I got to a main menu. I then see that I still had my save data from years ago and am Wizard Level 3,335. I hope you get the issue fixed so you can play it, because it's a wonderful game.

Great. Since this is the BOTD I remembered how fun this is and I'm going to have to go back and re-beat this game. Damn you Kong!

PS- the first crafting pylon is your only advantage to earning the two amulets: 1. when you craft 7+ gems with 700 not combined kills with only swarms and double monster setting (this was a pain, but it’s doable), plus you can use the gems in amplifiers as well to easily keep a consistent kill flow without having the monsters overwhelm you. 2. Using the wild gem and amplifiers to get 3,000 kills (without ever combining any gems with the wild one). The final level for me after many trial and errors can be beaten with 4 gems shooting the same pylon with one gem amplifying 3 towers. Take advantage of mana skills to easily spend mana on towers and scale the gems up to grade 4 or 5 combining mana with bloodhound, chain hit, or mult. damage (all this is possible w/o adjusting to fight certain monsters from battle settings). Some journey amulets are earned by constantly playing fields M7 and M4. M7 was done many times for buildings, killing tons of monsters, spending loads of mana. M4 was only for raiding tombs without failing a level even to help squeeze extra xp. L3 is where you can spend 100,000 mana to earn a journey amulet, just try it with extra waves and double monsters that can ensure the round won’t end too soon before you’re able to get it. It’s easy to grind extra XP with multipliers set to double monsters, armored only, 15 bonus waves, and banishment heal + cost extra increase. Up to the mid top area of the fields, use the same settings while toning down the monster amount. (2/3)

Ways to grind as much XP out of many levels based on what you can get out of them (once you are high on a level enough to revisit): max setting on monster amount & hit points next to high banishment cost, raiding tombs, building 10 towers and 5 amplifiers, destroying nests, creating grade 6 gem, summoning 60 monsters to get score multiplied (I use grade 3 or 4 at most), build 2 shrines, 10 towers, 5 amplifiers while only having them around two towers with gems as high as you’re allowed to go, and get 100 or even 200 kills and sending in waves really early. All this will guarantee ten thousands of xp on the first few levels. If you're struggling to progress if all the levels have been squeezed out of as much xp (too many swarmings to fend off or have to deal with giant that instantly wipe too much mana, set the monsters to armored only to eliminate them and take advantage of the wild gem that makes a world of difference. (comment 1/3)

AGH. Even though, I don't have the premium package on Armor Games, I'm starting to think it'd be better to play the game there anyway because on that site, you can just click the towers to put gems in them. -_-;

The wizard struggles to keep the monsters away from the orb, so he builds many towers with magical gems instead of just blocking the path to the orb

Mother...f*cker...Game got cleared after I was cleaning my browser history and cookies. That was at least 40 hours of slow grinding over months down the drain...Well I guess this is a hard trophy I won't be getting. It was fun, but it's going to be awhile till I feel up for replaying all the levels again...

OK, well, sadly I understand now why Gameinabottle is moving to Steam. What a sad day for Kong players. Why do corporations always have to ruin things???
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Gosh. It took me a great deal of two weeks to actually finish ONE playthrough of this game. Maybe it really deserves an impossible badge, after all there are games with impossible endurance badges that take a lot less to complete...

@gameinabottle. You say you're bringing it to Steam, but what about here please? I don't play at Steam. I play games here. Please continue bringing games here to Kong! I love playing your GemCraft games. They're the best Tower Defense games EVER!

Mallybird, no it's not needed, Gemcraft series never needs anything "hidden" anyhow to beat the game. Here in GC:L, some challenges can only be completed with premium settings, but they are irrelevant to beating the game.

Is it really necessary to buy the premium version to beat the game? A message just popped up on the game saying that buying premium will help get you to the end.

Trying to play again (after years) but can't get the game to work in Chrome (even with SuperNova extension). The Play button appears but then the screen just goes black. Any ideas?

Here for the achievements, figured this game would take a while, but not this long. 24-36 hours in and not even 40% finished. I love TD games and this is brilliant.

will you ever be putting this out as a fullscreen game? i love this game, bought premium here and bought chasing shadows on steam.. not a fan of chasing shadows. MUCH prefer labyrinth and would LOVE to be able to play it full screen.

I played the game for the first time in April 2011. Now after almost 9 years i came back and saw that the Premium Edition only costs 50 kreds! With those free 3rd party offers i got those in 3 days. Now I can finally start the game again and hopefully will finish it this time!

What can I say... I love this game. It may look odd, but biggest bonus for me is the background rain (only thunder is missing), but even now in 2019, it's still one of my favourite games. Sometimes I get over confident and spawn to many enemies at once (what? I like being challenged). Thank you for this amazing game

I would love to play Gemcraft games on Steam, but I do not have Windows, so I must cram in my last-minute enjoyment of this series while I can. I enjoyed Gemcraft for over a decade, alas that flash is dying.
