Bergrin It saves fine in Chrome. Also, make sure your cookies haven't been disabled - my anti virus software likes to do that. And, if you are using FF, check the Kong thread on how to enable save flash games. Hope this helps.

@kingchoji: It's possible you pressed the I key by accident. I toggles the displays. If you can't see them, press I again to get them back.

there should be a mini-game anti-GemCraft; you control the monster. You can be able to place beacons also and build paths.

I have played many dozens of Tower Defense games but this is by far the best one. I've played the other GemCraft games but I ever get frustrated or bored too quickly. This one though is far more customizable and I think thats why I find it so addictive. (5/5 Stars) Also, for those who delete cookies, check out the forum tab on this page. You can save you're process by coping the file..."giabGclSaveData.sol". Just do a search on your computer and make sure to put the copy back in the exact same folder after you delete your cookies. This way you won't have to worry about losing your save.

1. Three colour Gems are best.
2. Always include a red gem cause red > all.
3. Amplifiers work best with 3 adjacent towers. (hint 3 towers in middle and one Amp on Top/Bottom each)
4. Earn the best exp : by increasing Difficulty to max. Beat it by using smart strategies
5. Upgrading Mana Pool is not nearly as important as in Gemcraft 1
6. Be carefull with rushing in waves too early, always have enough spare firepower to kill some of the flying wizard corpes, they got very valuable loot)
7. Retripping a level only gives Exp according to the difference of your former playthrough. SO trying to get 5500 exp when you already earned 5450 exp in that level is even more timewasting than actually playing this game.
8. If you place Towers early to Spawn, you kill MOnsters faster and can earn faster Mana by starting the waves early.
9. Shrines usually suck, as do Gembombs
10. dunno, have fun, get a GF, be smart and eat healthy

You can beat the game without premium. In the early Forums there are a lot of good info, tips and maps if you get stuck. It took me about 4 months to get all the badges, only playing about an hour a day. (I'm really bad at TD"s) - but it was fun! Good Luck! I still play occasionally because I haven't got full completion, even after buying premium.

1 key tip to any new playrs and current ones maybe having trouble use the youtube walkthroughs of this game they help a ton

nevermind - I found out. And if anyone's interested, you have to press shift+b then, keeping shift, click on the wave as many times as you wish to anger. Easy and convenient :)

LOL - The 'Final Stage Completed' badge being only worth 30 points is laughable. It is easily one of the top-ten hardest badges to invest your time in and ultimtely achieve on Kongregate. It should be a cool 100 points easy....

5/5 Stars, great game. If you like tower defense games, you really need to give this game a try. If you don't like tower defense games, give it a try anyway. This game is it's own genre as it combines Tower Defense, RPG elements, and general awesomeness into one game to create an experience that will keep you busy for days. Truly a work of art made by a genius game developer. Best TD game I have ever played.

That hard badge...the one about completing the game, should be an impossible badge. It is way too time consuming to be a hard badge. + if you agree!

This is one incredible game! I'm seriously thinking about purchasing the full version. I can't remember the last time I've had such a great time playing something so challenging and creative (both the developer's creativity, and my creativity with the gems that can be made). Absolutely ingenious! 5/5

Just realized something silly. The Journey Amulet counter for various gems does not count the mana spent if you upgrade with shortcut keys! Surely that is a bug to be rectified.
