The rain and storm background music is really relaxing. I have used it for sleep and meditation. This game really tires my brain out as I keep unconsciously trying to optimize everything.

Banishment is how many mana points you lose if that monster goes through your magic orb. The monster reappears at the start of the map.

if u want to make us pay then why even release on a free site? make the game better and market it. We are a community-driven base playing games for people by people. If we wanted to pay to play. . . well that's what those addictive facebook games, MMORPGS, and consoles are for.

You know that people cheat whenever 99%of the high scores are so and so number, and then theres 1 guy that has a stooopid high score

I went to http://gameinabottle.com/gcl.php as suggested. Sure, the premium edition is there for free, but I would have to start completely over. No more level 448 for me, apparently.

If $5 is too much for premium just complete the game in free like I just did. I don't know why you would want to ruin the challenge by buying extra skills anyway.

I got to level 68 before I noticed I can unlock gems that are not available at first. Sigh... things got a lot easier suddenly.

So after some more playing, at higher levels + higher waves, tri-color gems are in fact not the best... Honestly dual color gems are about 33% cheaper and only 7% weaker. Mix that with the fact dual color gems have higher specials, maximize that benefit with a trap (traps damages get INSANE with yellow gems, 100% chance for 15x damage + 100% chance to hit 8 targets gets retardedly powerful, not to mention mana leach gems in a seperate area to power-fund your mana reserves). Reds are pretty useless later in the game, but chain-hits are absolutely astounding. Yellow gems are your damage, use the others as a "pre-debuff" for your yellow/green combo's.

OK, well, sadly I understand now why Gameinabottle is moving to Steam. What a sad day for Kong players. Why do corporations always have to ruin things???

I love this game to bits, but I hate it when my gems' attack speed gets high enough that it always misses a shot after killing an enemy (it launches its projectile at an enemy that is dead by the time it arrives). Is it too late to ask for a patch seven years after release?

Hmm... I hate it when you get really far in a game and the only thing stopping you from going farther is that you have to pay...

"Published Apr. 20, 2011" "Game News: APR 18, 2011 11:42AM: Fixes & Changes in GC Labyrinth v.1.17" How is this even possible.

For all you people that keep complaining that everything on Kong isn't free, here's a bit from Kongregate's bio:
We know that making great games isn't easy and our mission is to help indie developers make better games and earn more money doing it. We share advertising and microtransaction revenue with game developers - and they retain full rights to their games. With features like multiplayer support, persistent data storage, high scores, and statistics, we take care of a lot of the headaches involved in game development.
Frankly, if I was gameinabottle and spent weeks programming a game, i'd naturally expect some return on my investment. Just say thank you and play.

I bought the premium edition. Why? Because it is FIVE DOLLARS (free if you do third party). I either buy a Spicy Chicken sandwich at Wendy's, or I buy a game that will last me HOURS upon HOURS.
I regret nothing. Thumbs this up if you agree.

Constan - yes, but I had been avoiding swarm because they kill me. I've now adjusted my strategy to suit them (many towers spread out, as opposed to one super power tower) and I can do it now. Thanks mate.

I got the final hard badge today, woo!! I achieved it at level 109, if you're wondering how long you'll need to grind.

Gosh, by far the deadliest combo the game could throw at you is a giant monster wave followed by a swarm wave. Your gems would either be busy killing only the swarm and the giant monsters get to your orb, or your gems would be trying to kill the giant monsters and the swarm continuously drains your orb

The only thing I miss is is to see on which settings my highest xp was achieved on any certain field. Surely, it will not be added here, so just a suggestion for the future :)

I'm still playing this game after 2 years or more and it still entertains. A stalwart and a firm favourite. Thank you developer.
