@Aellie Yeah, that is the concept for this game. It wouldn't have been much of a maze if it the sections weren't really connected.
@Alteric No maps are too hard, just go back and get more experience on earlier levels if you can't beat it.

RishabhM, you should learn how to summon more monsters that you can still handle. Once you will learn this art, you can easily summon 7000 on K9, which will seriously reduce the grind required to beat 200k monsters. Not to mention the very high wizard level attained in the process. Also tenfold are HP, not number of monsters :D

Once you unlock them and feel you can handle it, run every field, even ones you haven't done yet, with at LEAST Armored Only (prevents swarms, and armor is negligible unless you also use Higher Monster Armor) AND Banishment penalties. Also, play with extra waves (if you can handle it, always use the +15 or +20 waves) to get the most out of each new field right off the bat. Don't go back to an old field afterwards until you have enough skill to make a SIGNIFICANT increase over the xp you got from it last time; just keep doing new fields instead. Good luck!

Just gained 25 levels from one stage. Do the 50x multiplier thing in the FAQ. i wish i tried this BEFORE i finished the game. oh well..

If you're finding latter battles too hard but don't want to "grind" to incease your wizard level - read the FAQ forum posts re. maxing out summon modifier on pylon battles - I just went from level 51 to 68 in one battle thanks to the tips therein.

@Snooze123 try low quality and lower particles in the options and dont send in a ton of waves at once. i usually lag if i break a tomb or if i send 10+ waves at once

Congrats hackers, you are really stupid. Lots of people have 1852 as max wizard lvl in high scores...I dont think there is a max lvl so you all did the same, congrats

This game series is a true work of art and an innovation of the idea of tower defense games. That sentence does not do justice to this game. 6 stars

this game is addicting if i didnt have things to do during the day i would be playing until i got stuck and rage quit. but still i would be back in less than half an hour. amazing game!

I'm disappointed that they added the "option" to pay for "more skills and battle settings". In reality, they took away some of the skills and "modes" that were in previous games, and will only give these things back if you pay for it. Take a look at the skills and battle settings that are limited to Premium - a lot of them are oddly familiar to previous game skills and modes that were ALWAYS available.

@WraithofCERBERUS - the game saves automatically, but some setting on your browser is deleting it. Lots of them clear saved data as their default setting, so you'd need to find that option and change it (think it'll be under privacy/security in most browsers).

It took me forever to figure out the skills page comes up when you're going into battle. This is poor design; it should be on the map page.

People don't ask for badges just rate well and the game will get them. Besides a gemcraft game without badges is like a final fantasy game were the guys look like guys.

Prismatic Gems (8 colors in one gem) were actually removed in this game, it's therefore a bad idea to go beyond pure/dual/triple (1-3 colors).

Ways to grind as much XP out of many levels based on what you can get out of them (once you are high on a level enough to revisit): max setting on monster amount & hit points next to high banishment cost, raiding tombs, building 10 towers and 5 amplifiers, destroying nests, creating grade 6 gem, summoning 60 monsters to get score multiplied (I use grade 3 or 4 at most), build 2 shrines, 10 towers, 5 amplifiers while only having them around two towers with gems as high as you’re allowed to go, and get 100 or even 200 kills and sending in waves really early. All this will guarantee ten thousands of xp on the first few levels. If you're struggling to progress if all the levels have been squeezed out of as much xp (too many swarmings to fend off or have to deal with giant that instantly wipe too much mana, set the monsters to armored only to eliminate them and take advantage of the wild gem that makes a world of difference. Dear Chrome users who have lost their save: go to your plugins and disable Shockwave Flash 11.6 r602. Reload the game and your save will be back. Also, make backups of your save files. If you don't know how to do either of these steps, google them. :)
