Previous GC games: I hope I get the right gem. Time to spam Mana Pool
This game: I select the right gem, if it is locked I unlock it.
Next one: TRAITS cost a PREMIUM currency and I cannot unlock gems.

Unlocking gem types allows for repeated good strategy,
Very good game, much less random than GC 1 and 0, more grindable than GC 2. Best TD that I have played and the other GC games are AWFUL. Big step up! My favourite strategy is 1 bloodbound/chain or bloodbound/multiple damage surrounded by 8 lower level amplifiers on armoured only (easiest). I am not on premium because I am avoiding Pay to Win. When I complete G7 I may get premium OR when I have explored 168 fields.

the only flaw i've seen in this game is that it does 2 tank enemys then Swarmers, so all of your gems are focused on the swarmers while the tanks get a free walk to your orb...SO ANNOYING

Thank you for this game. It's very fun and addicting. I love that the last badge is called "Remind Me of the Babe", that me me smile.

I love the style of this game and how everything is laid out and presented. I also enjoy the concept of being able to craft higher quality gems rather than having an original defence and then upgrading it accordingly.
Definitely recommend this game to anyone who enjoys tower defence games and is looking for something different to the usual content and design of games.

could be cool if they added a battle amulet called "Boom finale", where you need to finish the level by using your last gem (so when you end there will be no gems in your inventory nor field) to kill the last few enemies, could have been fun

I had done premium on this game before and it reactivated when i went to a new computer but it wont activate or let me buy now

upgrading wild gem skill is a great option for increasing initial mana, if you destroy it, you get very high mana for it

@crc00 Thats a nice tip, because i'm EXTREMELY weak to swarmers because my common srategy isn't focused on multiple towers, i just focus only in 1 or 2 gems

Pro tip I remember seeing in the comments before, if you're having trouble clearing a map, try setting it to armored only, can actually be quite easier

Question about the premium edition. If I play on another PC or clear my cache & cookies so the local save gets deleted, do I still keep the premium content or is it gone forever and I'll have to buy it again?

I like this game a lot, nice graphics, very good game mechanisms, a lot of nice improvement to the prequels... but the fact that you can't really get all the journey amulets, and can't complete the challanges without premium pretends me to give it 5 stars.

@lakawak: the numbers are for unlocking the initially locked gem types, and all the freqquent shortcuts are on the left hand... I personally thinks that the controls are perfect, and the limited tower types at the start adds a lot of variety and challange to the game.

This whole game is ruined by the fact that they inexplicably got rid of hte NUMBERED shortcut keys. IT is as if htey forgot the definition of SHORTCUT. IT is supposed to make it easier to comlete tasks one handed (since your one hand is on the mouse) without having ot look down at hte keyboard! So...maybe instead of making the shortcut be hte first letter of what you are doing, you keep the other way the older games had and have them the nubmers since htey are ALL RIGHT NEXT TO EACH OTHER! Why I am in the heat of battle, I don't want to have to figure out what key my finger is on and say "Hmmm..I think I am on the M key to up my mana...let's hope I am not on N to star the next wave instead!"
I also think that being able to choose your gem makes it just like every other tower defense game that exists. But the shortcut key change is a dealbreaker.

Never loved this series, but clearly a lot of people do. Pretty standard TDF with nice presentation and a unique mechanic. It seems fine, I'm just not that into the gem crafting and TDF are definitely more of a time killer than "fun." Also, I realize it is probably near impossible to make money as a flash dev releasing free games, but do we really need the "more games" button RIGHT NEXT to the "back to map" button? They also look exactly the same and the "more games" button is 1st (Latin-derived languages left-to-right reading), so it is even more likely someone will accidentally click it. Clearly trying to trick people into clicking the wrong button. Pretty sketchy even for a free game.

that A12 level just turn me crazy :why it's the only one that i can beat only on full normal as i done all before double number/armored/banishment heal/wave+ ,i done the level after it like that ... the A12 is way unbalanced ><.
