This is the third time I've had to start over from the beginning. The fact that I'm still playing after having to restart three times shows how good this game is.

Kudos for showing us our progress stats inside the Amulets!! This way we don't have go looking for them somewhere else, if they even exist. I quite appreciate it.

took me 5 years to finally beat this here game, due to extenuating circumstances, but ive enjoyed it and will continue to play the gemcraft games! thanks for all the fun!

I love ths game. I love all gemcraft games because its a simple Tower Defense game but it makes something huge ot of this genre. Only if you look at the map,the different gem types and its combining possibilties or the skill system(even it is not special at all, it's not seen often in TD games like this). There is a great thinking behind the dual and triple masteries all is well rounded and make fun. Theres only on thing I miss in THIS chapter. You cant beat all amulets(esspecially the challenge amulets) without having premium. I personally dont hate premium(when someone likes the game and wants to pay for it. Not my buisinness his choice), but it would be nice to change amulets for non-premium users, so everyone is happy ^^

It would be really nice if you could add a "Unafflicted monster" priority for towers/traps. I'd really like my slow/poison to affect as wide a spread as possible. Random gets me closer, but targetting healthy monsters would be great.

What is with the first 'hard' badge? do people really struggle that much getting to the second epic stage? If thats so hard... then shouldnt getting to the end be ... 'impossible'?

The thing that pisses me off is the fact that you need the premium edition to beat the challenges. Other than that, great game. 5/5

I wonder if the dev knows we're being completely serious when we say this is a fantastic game, one of the very very best, just brilliant? That we're not exaggerating for the sake of a good comment? It feels like if it were me, reading comments on a game I made, I'd tend to play down the compliments, because, you know, sometimes people do exaggerate for a good rating, or whatever. It's just that people complimenting this game AREN'T exaggerating. Anyway. Just wanted to say that, and also that this is a tremendously excellent game and anyone wanting to make great games should study this one.

@Jeanmiwan: Try killing them before they reach your orb? You shouldn't be trying to banish large numbers of monsters... It's not a good use of mana.

I bought the premium edition on this site, is there an option to transfer it to kartridge? if not, np at all, it's just a tad annoying having to allow flash to be run in chrome these days :/

I've been playing this game every day since the 1st of January. Every morning when I wake up, I do a few levels before my shower. When I've got a spare couple of minutes, I'd do a few more. Even sometimes before bed, I'd have a little play. Today I got the "Remind Me of the Babe Badge" & completed the game. The end of an era.

You can drop gem bombs and blow things up while on pause. You can do just about anything while on pause. Too bad real life isn't like that.

The only thing I don't like about any of the Gemcraft games is being limited to certain gem types on levels. Other than that it's a great game, and so far this is my favorite in the series. I love how everything is way more user friendly, no more tedious gem combining, no more hoping for the right gem when creating them, it's amazing. Story is fantastic, visuals are astounding, and the background music/sound is just so perfectly eerie. Everything fits so well together, it's completely beyond me how 'The King's League' is third highest rated Strategy and Defense game and this is not.

It's weird, judging from the higher amount of points you get, "armored only" mode is supposed to be more difficult. But on several levels I used that mode because I couldn't beat it on normal.... et voilĂ ! I think it's easier without swarm and giants...

@jonny0panic: in addition to what NightReaver said, the shrine itself has a clock-like animation which causes it to light up as it charges (hard to explain in words, but you'll see it in the game with ease), use that as a rough guide to how charged it is. Also, if you do not see the information of the shrine when you mouse-over it, check you have not set your 'Info panels plate opacity' to 0 in the options and also check you haven't toggled panels off in the game (press I to turn them back on if you have). Finally, I would like to mention how the developer has spent so much time and effort on this game that you should add +2 to your game rating, just to show you appreciate his work, thanks.

@Zachbrew: What you described is a good tactic, but in GemCraft Chapter 0! In GCL combining high grade gems with low grade ones boost their stats, but combining equal gems and increasing grades is more efficient. Don't mislead people.

@Cipper80 I do agree a lot of devs seem obviously in it for the money (which isn't a purely negative action anyway, since money is required in daily life to live) but in this case it's practically a donation to the devs here since it's just a small boost. I don't think they're being greedy here.

i dont want to change anyones opinion but personally after playing the game and stuggling then getting so far through i stopped relying on poison gems. it can be usefull but i think its more like a support gem like slow or armor tearing. this gems i think are for mostly making it easier for better gems. i agree with versperbot, red/lime could make a big difference. i would alos try out lime/yellow/orange or lime/yellow as possible gems. the triple one would cost more altogether but can add some good advantages in my opinion however i leave it upto you. hope this helps.

I just realized the "globe" in the bottom corner shows your completed multiplier for each labyrinth. Good to know which ones you can attempt again for more experience.

@CS9023 If you paid attention during the first stages of the game, you should know that the corner levels are hidden, and opened by unlocking certain medals. The final stage is at the center of the labyrinth.

pwnageelite, "waves beaten" stat in the scoring table is the one you need to push up to 100 (or 101, if GiaB didn't fix it).

Found my first tomb. Broke it open just as the last wave was ending to see what was inside. Did NOT expect a huge wave of roided-out monsters to plow through all of my defenses and kill me.

@lackinglack1 Getting premium is about supporting the developer ^^ And there is enough hard stuff to do with endurance mode.
