"omer"'s not to bright, is he? This game is NOT hard at all! If it's too hard for YOU, than you seriously need mental help, not game help! I reached wizard level 90 in under 2 days!... POISON and ARMOR BREAK are the only two gems you really need in this game and place them in only one tower and just two traps that you should place next to each other and nearest to where the monsters enter the field, that way any monsters that might miss the first trap wont miss the second trap and only use poison n the traps and add a bolt to each trap, so that they ignore monsters armor strength, doing so will help weaken (or kill) the monsters for your one tower to take out easier!

Local save games SUCK! If it can't be saved on the GAME's SITE, than it is pretty much WORTHLESS in this day and age! Also, flashed based games ARE so obsolete and outdated! Sick of losing my game due to it needed to be saved locally! Windows latest automatically cleans stuff, like caches out, and you can't change that! I WASTED a week playing this, but I won't be starting over, nor coming back, especially since there are things we CANT do, unless we PAY PAY PAY for the OVERPRICED magician's garbage pouch!

Xp farming is too hard. I played all the way to the second crafting pylon but it wants wizard level 30 and every level i play gives maximum 200 xp (and thats pretty low) and the level up is after 3000 xp so it takes too long. can someone help me?

Red gems are overpowered. You can win every stage by wizard level 35 with max xp multipliers by fully upgrading gem and tower mastery, bloodborne gem mastery, dumping as much as you can into one other gem type, duality, wild gems, range, damage, and fire rate. Have at least enough points in starting mana to buy a grade-4. Start with 2 gem towers (The grade 4 and your wild gem) and then switch into a dual red-type asap. Surround your dual-red gem with 8 amplifiers and it can win most maps without any input. Try to get as many amulets as you can. Eventually when you have enough points, put them into chain hits (lime) in addition to red. Dual red-lime tears through the armor minion waves like crazy. If you have premium and can use triple gem mastery, go for red-yellow-lime or red-orange-lime.

amps are quite expensive, use that mana for gems, walls, towers, and mana pool extension. Only use mana pool extension durring the begining or once you're towers are holding back the enemy. Don't use pool extension at near the end of waves or you're limiting possible upgrades. Keep saving and upgrading only build more if you know swarms/large groups are appearing. amps should also be used only durring either large number of waves, or when it will be of use to multiple towers. Else the effectiveness is too minor in most casses. Upgrading gems in amps effects mainly damage but gives minor boosts to range and slight bit more fire rate. placing more boosts range and fire rate along with a weaker boost to damage than upgrading gems in an amp.

This is a nice tower defense game. I like it. Though I'm sometimes wondering if I'm doing it wrong when I start a round with only 3 towers & gems and I leak enemies even when I've already built up more towers.

I bought the premium edition on this site, is there an option to transfer it to kartridge? if not, np at all, it's just a tad annoying having to allow flash to be run in chrome these days :/

max bloodbound, wild gem, chain and multiple damage and after u have it maxed go full 6.52 multiplier with 1 blood (lvl7) combine later with chain and multiple damage (max amplifiers with blood lvl3) - grants 30k exp min. per map.

To anyone still playing in 2019, a new GemCraft chapter is in development, GemCraft Frostborn Wrath has just got a Coming Soon page on Steam (you can search for the game to get there and Wishlist it to get notified when it arrives). Also, nothing's sure yet, but I also have some future plans to release remakes of the old GemCraft chapters, to make them somehow survive the end of Flash Player support in web browsers.

this game is alot different in you can change the map to how you want and you can also upgrade your gems in many different ways my current favorites are actually the bloodburst and the poison(specifically for traps)

Nice game like it but tried to buy the premium version from Kartridge ? for like 10 dollars it took me to another site not Kongregate and I still have to find the game I paid 10 for on my device ?

Low level guide for gem bombing -
look at the mana gain per monster of the target wave. below 15: do not anger.
g1: 15-45 .
g2: 45-72 .
g3: 72-186 .
g4: 186-240 .
g5: 240+ .
Say the mana gain is 10 per monster. this is less than 15, so don't bomb at all.
say there's 20 mana gain per monster. this is between 15 and 45, so bomb with grade 1's.
say the'res 300 mana gain per monster. Then bomb with grade 5's.
say there's 120 mana gain per monster; bomb with grade 4's for more exp, or grade 3's for an easier wave/don't have the mana to invest; the net mana gain per wave is the same either way.
