Did the first epic boss at level 16- just make sure you have at least one purple pentagon waiting at the beginning and 5000+ mana to withstand 1 hit from the boss. When he comes and goes past your first few towers, take your purple pents and station them at towers so its always hitting him. Second run should be enough to kill him, if not bomb him till his dead.

Better comprehensible version of my last, weird comment:
You can easily get glowing frames in all levels before the first epic one by maxing out your gem bomb enhancement skill and related abilities, summoning many waves at once and spamming low-grade gem bombs.
That jellyfish thing was just an obscure reference; I didn't criticise this game or anything.

Max out Gem Bomb Mastery, Increase Mana Drop, Starter Gem Amount and Reduced Gem Cost -> screw towers -> let in all waves at once and overwhelm them with mass-produced gems.
In other words: Bomb jellyfish, because this game is silly!

Remember this is the first game of the series that went into production, so its mechanics and balance is less perfect than in the other games. I'm spoiled by both GC0 and GCL already, so I really miss angering monsters for more XP :)

if u r tryng to get the hidden levels dont try till ure at-leatst level 40 by about that point just re-do all the lvls from left to right,
(tip 4 all) 4 those who dont know its best 1nce u reach lvl 40, to reset all ur skill points and spend as many as u can on HIGH GRADE STARTER GEMS.

BTW Guys, for all of you freaking out about how gems should be combineable inside towers, the reason u cant is cause then u dont have the problem of temporarily losing that tower's efficency, thus making the game a lot easier because the if they made it like that people would freak that it cool'd down from combing, so they would have to remove cooldowns entirely,

I partially figured out the game save situation. It seems the game save is stored locally on your PC. If you play on another PC, no save(s). It is also possible that clearing cache or temp files may also delete saves.

This game is too easy. It is fun though. I like how you can completely rape on a map from start to finish without buying a single gem and spamming every wave at once. Even without access to the armor ability (all it does it make it cost a little less to banish monsters). I hate that you have to throw gem bombs individually. I liked the ability to shift-click for bombs like you can with towers that is introduced in the later games.

if you have trouble leveling up for the epic levels, try going back to other levels, then fighting every two waves at the same time (1 & 2, 3 & 4, 5 & 6, etc.) to do this, just click on the bars that show when the wave is going to arrive. rate + to keep this alive.

To those who are struggling. When you get stuck there are a few things you can do. First, go to previous levels and get a higher score, this helps you level up. Second, dual gems are better than pure or multi-component gems so try and keep your gems 'cleaner' as this makes the more powerful. Third, max out dual gem mastery and high level gem mastery, they are the most useful skills once you get them.

i completed this game on other sites and i get all amulets, maximum upgraded all skills because i playing this game on armor games. great game cupmanf the first epic boss medium, second hard, third easy, fourth medium, final level medium :)

WOW! I haven't thought that it will be that easy to beat the Epic-Bosses in the first lap. Instead of saving the mana I spend it for highgrade pure gems. But the last one was really hard to beat that way.

koolnate, no, first epic boss has 2000 mana banishment, so if you will have 2001 mana, you won't die if it enters your wizard tower. sneekygeek, summon waves earlier and more massively.

If the epic boss reaches your tower, would you be automatically defeated, even though you have a lot of mana(say...1500)?

You should be able to summon more monsters by gem bombing the wave stones, like in Gemcraft Chapter 0 and Labyrinth. That way the scores can get higher.

The points dont really help you in real life, just to gain lvls Besides that, the game is pretty awesome. 5 Stars and favorited :DD

What's the point of playing this here when a lot the features, not just one item, are only available at armorgames?
Imma play this there. It's pointless to play half this game only for few points in achievements. This shouldn't be a top rated game here.

If you play this right, "Armor" skill does you no good, as no monster will ever get banished. Including epic bosses. Just bomb the heck out of lower level monsters with gem bombs, up mana pool, get a grade 7 ANY gem, then combine it with lots of ANY grade 1 gems, this will then plow through anything and everything.
