@venturesome: Expander pieces are the ones that multiply your numerator & denominator by some number, like 2/2 or 3/3.

Nice puzzle game, I had some fun with it :) keep up the good work.
btw, to those who wonder how to get all the stars on the last level, here is my solution:

Seeing the previous comments which got a lot of +, you seem to have solved all the problems they complained about as I noticed none of them when playing this game. It runs absolutely smooth. And I like it a lot. I just love those puzzle games. 5/5

Kinda ridiculous that for some of the cards, you need to use extra pieces. Just place the extra piece anywhere and you get the card.

Even though I'm probably out of the target audience, I love this game. I keep coming back to redo the levels after it's been long enough for me to forget the solutions. Also, I just love the background music in Numerator Nebula. Educational games should not have music that good! Definitely 5/5 for me.

Well, that was a lot of work for 15 points. Nonetheless I got all the coins and cards just in case someday it will be revised. Am also guessing that whoever assigned this badge did not play the entire game.

Guys, about all of the comments about the pop-ups being annoying. You know you can turn them off right? Just go the pause menu :)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Think ive seen this before, anyways. One big question, what happens to all the lasers you dont stop that just fare in a random direction into space? :)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
for god's sake please add an option to disable all popup tutorial tips...i realize that 1/4 is not the same as 1/8 and do not need to be reminded, and similarly, if i disable the 1/8 popup tutorial you can safely assume i also know what 1/10 and 1/6 is...

I hate that this game is actually quite hard on last two chapters and it's just a medium badge. Why isn't it a hard badge.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
C'mon Kongregate; this time spent earning this badge is worth more than 15 points . . . and we really should get a reward for collecting everything, because that's *really* hard.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'm kinda surprised this is only a medium badge. There are many badged puzzle games easier than this that give a hard badge for completion. Or maybe I'm just terrible at math. :P Anyway, it's a fun game.

Anyone remeber the Refractor from Ratchet and Clank 3? This game brings many memories, and strangely feels a lot like spore.

got tired of the bubbles popping up constantly telling me too much, or too little. if they just went away after a second or two it would be a much better experience.

It really needs a "reset level" button to put all the pieces back to the piece menu. Other than that its a lot of fun and I have no suggestions. Thanks for a great game!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
To reset all of your pieces (in levels with lots of pieces) click "menu", "level selection", and then your current level. This resets to a fresh trial.

It is a good game but it is killing my laptop (AMD A-350, 4GB RAM). There should be a way to optimize the game by disabling graphic or so. After all, it's not like there are huge graphics and stuff.. yet flash and firefox get to take nearly 100% when running so the game is sluggish for me.
I have played another game similar to this one on Kong before without a problem. Maybe a bit of optimization would be nice or like I said the possibility to disable some options in order to make the game more playable. Thanks

Bug: You can still get cards for "have one laser be completely unused" while using all of the lasers in your solution.

Wow, the trophy cards descriptions read like an out of touch adult was trying to copy the popularity of Pokemon without understanding it. Oh, wait...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Well, Coins are pretty easy to get, if you dont finish the level with the beams passing through them. But i like the challenge anyway ^^

Mental Note: Animals make extremely bad pilots, as they constantly crash and require assistance so they can repair their ships, fly them, and subsequently crash again.

Was going to ask to be able to see which levels you haven't got coin's on, then noticed the trophy room tells you that when you scroll over them......still, requires a bit of going back and forth
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Technically the red beam should be the weakest and the purple beam should be the strongest... Funny that the people who work downstairs from me do this for a living, minus the outerspace and furry animals part.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Apart from fractions, I got to share this thought: the most simple and beautiful combinations are always correct. This works in this game and also in real life.

Great game 5/5. So much for collecting all the animal cards though.... (i thought there would be a fight at the end because of the attacks and abilities)
