Oh yea..when i started the game and just suddenly exploded after 3 seconds i was like whats this,then i started a new game 3 more times cause i thought it was a glitch lol.

Mostly liked it. One thing I didn't like is one of the ways the Boss kills you is by wasting your time. You have to wait for his entire barrage, then wait for him to land, then you can only shoot him ONCE then you have to wait through it all again. Then I died because time ran out (using the shortcut). Then I had to up my time limit so I could beat him. Made the boss fight rather boring and tedious. Otherwise I enjoyed the game, though.

I loved this game when I played it originally, but now whatever bug is causing the teleporting and getting stuck in walls makes it practically unplayable. Pretty sure the bug wasn't there when I played last.

LOL, the main character reminds me Futurama's Zapp Brannigan! Good game concept, but too short. I also suggest adding some vain, cheap dialog from our "hero". Way to go, guys!

Stone me, but actually, I don't think this is such an outstanding game. It's okay, but nothing really exceptional. It's short too. That's just my opinion though.

This game used to be really fun. I loved playing it during my "Flash game craze" in middle school. But when I played it now, I ran into a ton of teleporting glitches. For example, If I jumped up to the small platform to the left at the beginning, it teleports me into some spikes, killing me. Another example is if I jump over the first gap with spikes, I'd get teleported into the top of the map. This game is somewhat unplayable now. Hopefully, I'm not the only one who ran into these problems.

Best bit of advice I can give in regards to the boss?
Stop jumping.
I fought the entire battle on foot, and in doing so the pattern of the boss' bullets became incredibly easy to predict and avoid. Once you start jumping around, the boss seems to move away from you and is just not possible to shoot down. Just be patient, do some running around and dodging of the bullets and eventually he will drop down to the ground and let you get a shot in. Rinse and repeat for four total shots and you're good. The boss doesn't seem to change his pattern of attack at all through the process, so once you've figured out the rhythm you are golden.
p.s. - was anyone else reminded of a stormtrooper when he first popped out?

i seem to be the only one who isn't experiencing these teleporting bugs. in case it can help anyone else, i'm using chrome on a windows 10.

Fun little game. To short but could make a great game with some story and more stuff to buy and do. I liked how once you basically had all you needed to fight you could bypass most of the level for a straight shot at the boss. who was not very hard once I stopped trying to shoot him in the air. keep up the good work.

I finally managed to get all the coins. No bonus achievement or anything? Was it a fluke that it was hard but possible? Not enough time to beat the boss afterwords though.

5/5, this game is awesome. I love the boss, it stumped me for so long, until I read Altwing's comment that said "Nintendo-type boss" then I got it. I agree with the need for more upgrades and such in the game, here's hoping there's a second :)

Potential, really liked it. Likes: upgrade system, johny's run animation, concept and coin system. Dislikes: death slo mo of bad guys, boss was boring/easy (though it fitted the shortness of the game). Gonna be critical and give it a 4/5

It felt much like upgrade complete met the platformer genre, and it worked great.
Also it is great to see we still have developers, who are trying to make great games for the satisfaction of doing so rather than to gain money since recently a lot of developers have been making games that are obviously focused solely on making money, and while that is not a bad thing, flash games took off because they were small free games that could give you some entertainment, and seeing things go away from that is rather disappointing. I thank you for creating a quality free game and keeping your focus on the quality of the game over the money in your pocket.

TIPS: Just max your time... you should keep up to 10 bullets when going to the boss... use the shortcut at the left... wait the boss till it go down then shot once only

i tried a gazilions time to beat the boss until i realized that altrough it was cooler to dodge them by jumping it was pretty impossible so i stopped jumping...didn't lose a heart...F.M.L

Once you fully upgrade jump, to the left of your start point is a ledge you can reach with a double jump that will lead you to the 2nd from last room with a buttload of coins and only 4 enemies till the boss battle.. upvote to help those who are having problems (Y)

Ooh! What a great game! I wonder where I place on the high scores table! *checks high scores* ...I should just give up, the top score beats me x15. Why would you cheat? xD
