i tried a gazilions time to beat the boss until i realized that altrough it was cooler to dodge them by jumping it was pretty impossible so i stopped jumping...didn't lose a heart...F.M.L

short and sweet. Obviously, having an upgrade for Johnny to learn how to shoot UP would break the boss fight, but still would have been nice ^*

You CAN physically hit the boss with a shot (before the intended time), because he doesn't move as high when doing the spinning shot just before the gateway shots, however it won't register as a hit. So annoying.

Armor Games: Breaking Eardrums since Gondor (I haven't played yet. Just commenting on the ear-shattering noise at full volume in ever Armor Game I play. I'm sure it's fun though!)

Great little game! I can't tell you how hard I mashed keys at the beginning trying to move! Everything was great about this game, the graphics style, fluidity of movement, and upgrades of course. The music was perfect for the atmosphere and the only thing I can think to add, would be MORE UPGRADES and MORE LEVELS! If you take the time to churn out another one of these, I'm sure it will hit the front-page once again! 5/5 dude

Out of curiosity...was this inspired by Donkey Kong Country in some way? The boss is very similar to KAOS and the placement of coins is similar to the placement of bananas.

about the boss..it's very easy..you should have made it after every hit he gets more angry:faster stronger and new harder attacks

I hate that the point of more time is not that it allows you to collect more coins, but that you need two minutes to have the boss cycle to where you can hit him 4 times.

Once you fully upgrade jump, to the left of your start point is a ledge you can reach with a double jump that will lead you to the 2nd from last room with a buttload of coins and only 4 enemies till the boss battle.. upvote to help those who are having problems (Y)

Very neat little game! When I first started it up and I just exploded I thought to myself "oh wow, I must really be doing something wrong here". Glad to know that it wasn't me, it was the fact that our friend Johnny Upgrade can't even walk unless you're willing to spend some money. Great job overall. =D

Short...but I like the concept. Reminds me of Upgrade Complete, and there's a sense of progress and accomplishment as you get a little bit further through the game with every upgrade.

Mekill--- It only takes 4 shots to kill the boss once your gun is fully upgraded.
Frozen--- When he starts shooting rapidly you have to stand directly under him.

Great execution of a wonderful concept. Well balanced, although there is a little bit of grinding right at the end (to max out all the stats). Only thing I would change is to reduce the camera pan a little bit. It kinda makes me dizzy if I'm tired (like right now)

Mekillallyay: yes it is. Don't shoot until he's on the ground. You only need 4 shots.

Hehe, quite amusing to die in the beginning before realizing what is going on actually ;-).
A very good, simple game I think, the only disappointment is the endboss.

it takes about 21 seconds until you can hit him again, which is quite boring. Would maybe be more interesting to give it more life, but you can hit it more often as well. Also, it would be nice if the boss would change its attacking sheme when it loses life, would make it a bit more challenging.

4/5... can change into 5/5 if you change the boss a bit ;-)
