Beat challenge 21. Believe me it was a huge crunch to get there. Just get the opponent to go insane really fast preferably with schizophrenia or meglomania.

The effects in Challenge 21 are not random. Here's what I see happening:
1. Any time you heal, enemy is healed same amount.
2. Increasing enemy's Taint increases your taint by same amount.
3. Any card that increases your Arcane Power increases enemy's Arcane INSTEAD of yours.

The mood and the thematics in the game are just brilliant! The game itself should be improved upon though. Overall very original and bringing entirely new aspects to the ccg setup.

challenge 21- your own cards are in play against you, problem is you never know in which turn. ex. 14 + arcane(8). then you see 22 health being removed from you.and other nice surprises.

I think it would be cool if it is made more obvious when you're being forced to discard a card instead of play it :) Somehow.

Well, I beat challenge 15 with 1 health left. Not sure what the whole fuss was about. I used the Elder Sign whenever I had the chance, and I used all of my healing cards. It was heavily luck based, as is the whole game, but it wasn't a huge problem. Guess I got 'luck'y.

Is there an actual strategy to the game itself as well as the challenges? This is like, depths of Kongregate in terms of shitty but good games.

so I've been having serious trouble with challenge #20. I think that you have to complete a dark ritual to get past it.

Also how is it that the enemy can pull Yog Sothoth on the first draw but I can't get it ever? That's pretty much the only possible way i can see of beating challenge 15.

First: when I play blackmail, the enemy chooses a card that turn, and still gets to play the next turn, but when the enemy uses black mail, i have to wait until the next turn to choose a card, and the enemy still gets to play one, so effectively I lose a turn but the enemy doesn't. The rules should be the same for the enemy as they are for me, and this only plays into the next gripe.
Second: the enemy can see what I'm playing before he chooses his move. Given the 17% chance that ballesta25 mentioned, the enemy shouldn't NEVER be playing an attack when I happen to use Elder Sign. The only possible explanation is that the computer is literally a f*cking cheater.

don't you just love it when you use blessing of hastur to remove taint and then the very next turn the opponent uses blessing of hastur and the taint comes right back to you...

wtf how do i go insane plz tell me. every time i play a card with a 1,2,or 3 it makes me gain sainty wtf is a glitch because when im fightng the cpu my sainty goes up

I just played it over and over till I got some got some defence cards and health, played taint to keep him busy then after chipping away at his health finally finished him with Hounds,took forever.

It seems like most of these challenges involve hoping that your opponent goes insane with megalomania and out-lasting through that

This should have "Disclaimer: Every challenge is extremely difficult, nearing impossible. The impossible badge could be "win 15 challenges" and it'd still take hours and hours and require a combination of luck and skill. Many challenges have multiple ways to kill you on the first turn, no questions asked. Do not play if your computer is too valuable to be smashed in rage; we are not responsible for any damages caused by this game."

I'm 99% sure you're badge is broken. When you beat all 30 levels, the "Highest Attack" line says "Uneine" while all the other categories correctly display their values. Your medium badge is broken.

Absolutely love this game! Just unlocked the impossible badge, after like a bazillion tries on challenge 15. I get why people find that one freaking frustrating, but for me it doesn't decrease the fact that I had a huge amount of fun while playing this game. Definitely a favourite.

Some challenges are idiotic. I'd prefer skill instead of replaying a zillion times until finally the right combination pops up.

Finally got the last badge.This game might be good, too bad the designer of the challenges has forgotten one tiny detail. People play games for fun and the challenges offer no fun whatsoever. What they do offer is LOTS of first turn defeats you can do nothing about. It's just frustrating grinding based on luck only.

I wish as I progressed I obtained the ability to make my own deck... and maybe even change my negaqtive sanity effect from agorophobia to something else XD
