Zangief also has a few air attacks. During a vertical jump, press up and either heavy or medium punch to do the Headbutt. During an angled jump, press down and light kick to do a Double Knee Drop. And also during an angled jump, press down and heavy punch to perform a Body press.

And also, Vega can do his Flying Barcelona. Charge Down, and then press up, and then Vega will go to the nearest wall, that is if the computer is not moving towards you, or else Vega will land on the ground again. If Vega jumps off the wall, you can press a punch button to his attack, and if use a directional back and punch, you can do the Izuna Drop.

Hint: The more times you lose, the easier gets. Go to a hard enemy and continue getting beat by him. You will eventually be able to beat EVERY SINGLE CHARACHTER in the game with 1 battle, and if you have patience, you can keep losing and be able to beat M. Bision in 2 rounds

@AsianMobster hold move back for 2 second and then press forward and punch to do superman.Replace punch with kick to do scissors kick.

AsianMobster you can use special moves in combos by doing a normal attack quickly followed up by the special move. A classic example of this would be with ryu doing a crouching medium kick and then immediately doing a fireball. not all normals combo though, so experiment

although the instructions have all these funny buttons for skills,you actually only need to press down+up+punch to do a energy ball(whatever it is), down+back+kick to do that tornado kick and down+up+down+up to do an uppercut.

massive AI difficulty spike after the car bonus stage, complete bullshit.
no matter what I do, i'm always faced with either Ryu/Ken and their instant reaction, perfect timing bollocks. Can't play defensively, they'll spam my guard with hadoukens consistently until time out KO. Can't play aggressively, get blocked and thrown away, or shoryuken'd out of the air. Can't grab them because they instantly punish my guard being down.

Blanka is impossibly cheap. I know the original had cheap moments in it, but I don't remember Blanka being ultra cheap. And playing a fighting game on a keyboard is impossible, no matter the version.

for the people below {on a keyboard} a simple fireball facing right is ---down, while holding down press right at the same time, let go of down button while still holding right button, punch make it in a fluid motion. the uppercut shoryuken is similar but right then down and while holding down press right and then punch. a bit harder so do fireballs first, this is for ken and ryu

Game would be 10x better if the combos weren't retardedly random in being pulled off, idk if it was like this on the original arcade/console but it seems to always work or never work.
