Yeah gotta love the names of these attacks. Low Firebird? High Firebird? Flame Torpedo? Tumbling Claw? Spinning Clothesline? LOL! Athough If you consider Cheesemanreborn's comment about the french site, it makes sense. These may just be mistranslations of the actual move names. Sorta like how "Sheng Long" is actually "Shoryuken" in "You must defeat Sheng Long to stand a chance." (btw the actual official names of the above moves are Low Tiger Shot, High Tiger Shot, Psycho Crusher, Rolling Crystal Flash, and Spinning Lariat respectively.)

it's frozen during the ending... I won as ryu and I saw the beginning of it but then I saw a yellow sun with red lines in it

master bison is a tough opponent as he usually uses his head crusher combo. To avoid you must use air attacks of blanka. when bison uses his flaming torpedo, make blanka jump and press the f key for scrathing bison's head of

Ryu has a secret move. Just do normal hadoukens, and you might (very rarely) see him shoot a red one. This does more damage than usual, and it's actually a glitch in the game. It's really rare, so don't count on it happening, but it's interesting nonetheless

I can't use the combos properly for some reason. They just don't work. Also, the fact that they stay the same even though you redefine controls is stupid.

Guile is simple with Ryu or ken. He is the only character that I know of whose fireballs can be passed through with tatsus (the spinning kick things). He also doesn't seem to get too spam happy with the flash kicks up close, so once you're in, you can stay in for a good while. The only issues here are if you're playing as someone who doesn't have a tatsu, or if he blocks something unsafe when you're close.

They save the cheapest for last with M. Bison. I actually find that the other fights are much easier with Bison... To the point that I try not to use him because it can ruin the fun. As far as beating him, I assume that there's a different strategy for each character, but the ones I know are Bison himself and good old Ryu. For Ryu, use the bread and butter tactics for him. use fireballs when at a distance, play defensively, do light shoryuken when he jumps, either walk up and shoryuken or stay still and fireball when he's getting up, be patient, crouching hard punch if there's not enough time for a shoryuken anti air, etc. For Bison, just use Psycho crusher a lot and win much more easily, but that wouldn't be fun now would it? As for other characters, I guess the strategy is to use their basic tactics, be patient, and remember to block and punish his hits. Good Luck!

The strange thing about Sagat is that the best character to beat him is himself, but honda can work if you just beat vega with him. With honda, get yourself into the corner and wait for him to spam just low shots for a while then just headbutt over them. The worst case scenario is that you charge directly into an uppercut, which does extreme damage. In the mirror match method, just spam low shots. you will duck under high ones and lows will cancel each other, but you will get plenty of hits in. When he's close, do an uppercut for lots of damage.

Vega is where the game starts to get really cheap. He is essentially chun li on super-steroids, and he has a wall climb he can't be knocked out of, a tendency to either hit you with a slide attack or grab you for lots of damage, and he has nearly inescapable grabs from a wall climb jump. Oddly enough, I found the best character here is E Honda. He is one of the characters who can easily evade the wall climb grab, and he does good damage with well timed specials. to evade the grab, you have to start a headbutt before he gets high (lol) on the wall and jumps. You can also use timed headbutts to hit him during normal jumps. Other than that, there are no tricks that I know of, so the only way to do it... is to do it.

Balrog is a perfect example of the fact that the computer cheats, but it has some bugs that are actually kinda funny and make the game easy. He is a cheater because he doesn't take any time to charge anything, so he can just destroy you with his dash punches. Despite this, he is bugged and easy because if you get into the corner and crouch, all of his common attacks other than his turn punch and jump ins will just go over your head! While he's busy punching the air, you can just use crouching attacks to beat him easily. The only other thing is that you might need to do standing blocks when he jumps in, or get out of the way if he turn punches, but aside from that, he's a tough fight that can be made easy by ducking in the corner.

Honda is simple. There are 2 methods. First is the exact same one as blanka strategy. fireballs until he starts jumping then anti air. the second is to jump in and attack him relentlessly, hoping that he doesn't stop you with slaps. He is very similar to blanka in that he has a button mashing move and a charging one, but unlike blanka, he sometimes forgets to anti air.

To beat Zangief, stay away... no seriously... stay away. If you do this, you can just spam away with projectiles and knock him back with something if necessary. If he gets close, get away immediately, or get him away. He has close range grabs that do ridiculous amounts of damage to you if they hit, and if he does one, he can easily walk in and do it again if you're not careful. So that's zangief. Easy from afar, dangerous up close.

To beat ryu, you have to use the very specific jumps from the ken fight, but what happens after that is very different. Instead of waiting to make a mistake by getting a shoryuken blocked and countering, you should stay on the offensive. If you do block a shoryuken, by all means counter it, but don't wait for one. The easiest way to maintain constant pressure while doing tons of damage to him is by getting him to the corner and then getting in and doing specials that hit tons of times such as E. Honda's slaps while walking forward, chun's lightning legs, or bison's psycho crusher. By doing this in the corner, you are maximizing closeness (you're right next to him), minimizing pushback (you can get pushed back, but he can't go back any farther), and maximizing damage (Because they're specials, they do damage even if he blocks).

The difficulty of beating Dhalsim seems to be more dependent on when you fight him than any other foe. If he is chosen to fight you early, you can beat him with just fireball spamming. If you get to him a bit later, then the fight will probably be a very tedious fight that lasts for a long time. In the latter of the two, he will use low kicks, slides, his stretchy arms, and his diving kicks and headbutts to push you to the corner. This Dhalsim is challenging, but I found out that you can use the advancing moves of characters mentioned in the Chun li tips to hit him just before he hits the ground after some jumps. you can also try walking forward while doing honda's Hundred hands. It doesn't always work, but it does sometimes. To me, patience is the key to beating Dhalsim late.

To beat Chun Li, there seems to be 2 strategies to beating her. The first is Anti-Airing her when she jumps at you (which she does more often than any other character). The other strategy is to pick characters such as Honda, Blanka, Balrog, Bison, or any other character who has a fast advancing move and use it as soon as she lands from a wall jump or is about to land. Being the character who likes to jump a lot, she probably won't try to attack you much while on the ground, but she might. If that is the case, the only strategy I have is watch out for lightning legs.

To beat Ken, the best strategy is to make a very specific jump towards him. if pulled off correctly, you will land right in front of him, but he won't anti-air you. At close range, Ken will stop spamming fireballs and begin to use his shoryukens. After you block them, you can knock him out of the air for a bit of damage. I also found a weird glitch where if you hit him with a move that knocks him down, such as a weak shoryuken, you can quickly walk up to him and do it again and again. For some reason he won't block much in this situation.

To beat blanka with a fireball character (Ryu, Ken, Sagat, Guile, Dhalsim), constantly throw fireballs until he jumps at you. When he starts jumping at you, stop throwing fireballs and try to knock him out of the air with a Shoryuken/Tiger Uppercut/Flash Kick or certain normal moves. Just don't jump at him because he can do the same thing with his normals and electricity.
