It rocks but there are some problems: in level 17 you just can't look everywhere while the AI can, so it would be nice to have a buttom to pause the game while being able to see the scenario.

I would give 5 stars if I could save my Progress. I cant be sure to use the same computer every day so I have to start from the beginning every time

the game should say the rules really i still dont get why i lose zones when i have more of 0 and worst after lose zone the guy gets 20+ points....

Ive made and submitted levels try them if you want, there is a part1 and part2, soon the finale, part3 each with at least 20 levels!

I love this game, especially the feature that allows you to make your own level, I've made several lees with it and it worked perfectly. in all,great game!

If you want more tentacle wars, get the one on ios. Its got the first game, second game, and exclusive levels, all with HD graphics!

Not too thrilled with these kinds of 'strategy' games, the concept is certainly very appealing since it doesn't fall back on the over-used 'warfare' approach. I would like to see a more traditional RTS using this biological conflict theme however.

I finally beat this game & I have to say, it is one of the hardest games I have ever played, flash or console. Those purple microbes are monsters when it comes to strategy, & that's saying a lot coming from the guy who made the BTD5 Keener strategies! Yes, I am the creator of those strategies. My wikia name is Dinner111. It was supposed to be Dinner101, but I made a mistake in spelling & noticed it too late.

I've had level 16 sitting at some strange 4:2 equilibrium for 16,800+ seconds. I think I may need to restart the level.

Ok I completed this like a year ago so got the acheivements. Also Great game 4.2/5.Also would love to see a another game about this, THE THIRD!.
also I love the ability to make your guys go faster by levelling them up and cutting the tentacles.

Level 10 is only difficult if you haven't been paying attention. Use cuts on long tentacles. It's still a little tricky to get the timing right, but it's really not *that* difficult.

Some formations that I find useful:
The triangle: Make a circle consisting of three cells that go either clockwise or counter clockwise
The Battery: Connect four cells clockwise or counter clockwise. Connect half of the spare tentacles to the other unused cells that is pointing against a fifth cell. Connect the last two to the fifth cell.
The stretch: Attack another cell with three cells (preferably in a triangle formation) and let it fight back. As soon as both tentacles are out, cut the cells it is fighting against. When the enemy cell has 10 power or less, quickly cut the last tentacle.
The advanced stretch: Make the stretch formation but keep all tentacles out. Look for the cells that is moving (the yellow lines). When the cell drops below 15 and the moving cell are near. Cut one tentacle.

It might be just me but it seems like the controls make it difficult for you to beat the ai when it starts much ahead of you. I think the ability to select multiple nodes would help a lot. I like the game and beat it but after a certain number of levels it just seems like now we have this extra hard scenario were a lot of the earlier ones it seemed like they were teaching you a technique. keep up the good work.

Haha, what instructions are needed other than those already given? Drag and drop and cut to add more support to a bubble. Easy enough.

The level editor's behavior of moving already-placed nodes away from new nodes is VERY poorly done - if you want to enforce a minimum distance just make new nodes not placeable near old ones. Also it'd be nice to be able to actually share levels (I don't see where that is, if it's implemented.)

blitzkrieg's the name of the game on this one - capturing generates troops instantly and adds to your passive generation. Long chains are actually your friend, as they can make you move large numbers at once. Cutting chains is brilliant and essential.
