Mybe the best abilitie of the tentacles is that it's not sending the troops from his cell, a tentacule send an unit THEY create. That's very important because then if u multiply your tentacules, u can send 2 or 3 more troops, and then the game become 2 time easyer

Ok, so from my experience playing this game, your microbes will evolve to the next level at 15, 40, 80, 120, and 160. They will devolve if they drop below 5, 30, 60, 100, and 140 respectively. So, for example, to get an embryo, you have to first get it above 15, then as long as you keep it above 5, it will stay an embryo. If you evolve your microbe, it will not reproduce faster, but its tentacle power will go up. Try not to overextend your tentacles or else you may devolve your microbe, making it weaker. If they attack you, if you don't attack back, they will continue to grow stronger while you lose power. Attack back if possible so you at least take down some of their numbers instead. I found out a small 'bug'... If you 'shoot' your tentacles at other cells, you 'push' them by a few pixels, doing this several times can get you further away or move you to different spots
