Nice art. Yet it is nearly completely static; the screen-shake effect would've rocked, except now it seems like it's compensating for the above. I don't see any reason the game mechanic like is presented would lag so drastically. There is hope, but.. Try again at creating a game! ;)

One more thing: fire wave can destroy enemy projectiles, including those from bosses. If you time it right, you can use it to block most of an incoming fusillade. Freeze is also a good skill, but switch it out for shield during boss battles with ranged attacks.

Here's the easy build. First upgrades go into shotgun/mutagen and hero, but you need 2 points in each. Then start maxing points into the support ship bomber, then destroyer. Summon your mutagens and shotguns even when you don't need them during big battles, since the destroyers and bombs will do quite a bit of damage. Do not put more than 1 point into machineguns/rocket launchers. During boss battles, just remember that your minions are expendable, and focus on keeping your guy alive. Shield helps against projectiles. Don't bother with health/regeneration, you can use mutagens to heal. Speed is optional. Fire wave is terrible unless fully upgraded, do not put points into it if you cannot max it right away.

the game is way to difficult and the level system takes way too long. By the time you get to a boss it is overpowered and you have little to no power ups.

Seriously, get a proofreader. There are millions and millions of people out there who are fluent in English. Any one of them could improve this game's writing.

Interesting game mechanics, and fun game to play initially, but it would benefit from more upgrades, such as individual upgrades for each weapon: Firing speed, damage, number of projectiles, projectile speed (missilegun). It would be great if every weapon still had advantages and disadvantages fully upgraded. Maybe the first gun would be a precision weapon with high damage but still low firing speed, the shotgun have many projectiles and decent fire rate, but only do real damage up close, etc. That way each player could upgrade to fit his/her playing style. And the laser gun is missing ;) It would also be nice with more upgrades for the clones, maybe they could heal, auto-target, make critical hits, poison damage and other clever things, so you could upgrade them fully instead of the weapons, and still kick some serious behind. Of course more upgrades would mean that you would have to level faster as well to be able to get them all without replaying missions for ages ;)

strange to be first comment but i liked the game and the fact you can upgrade everything to the max hard enough to entertain even with max upgrades

If you're going to have a mute button, make sure it mutes all the sounds. As for the rest; it's just a repetitive side-scrolling shooter with little/nothing unique.

I like it ^_^ but could use a difficulty setting maybe, right now it's a bit hard for me since shooter games aren't exactly my expertise.

Either make the second level so that halfway through you arent swarmed by the ones that follow you or make it easier to level up a little bit rather than have a like 3k+ difference in amount of exp needed pre lvl...not trying to complain but lvl 2 is nearly impossible unless you have good upgrades etc

Simple game, not very original. There's no 'discovering' at all. They're just different levels with mostly the same monsters on it. Decently put together. Could use better upgrades, a plot or story, music, more weapons and variety of bad guys, an exploration element would be nice, and so on. 2/5

Wow this is a pretty fun game... it gets me distracted and doesn't let me do anything for a bit. Has alot of depth good job.

Ok deeper thoughts after playing a bit more: 1) I'd love WASD controls, as I said previously, 2) I wish there was a button that pulled all your troops to your position, it is way too difficult to position them/dodge enemies near the tops and bottoms of the screen, 3) I dont know if its just a Mac thing but when I hit Command it locks the movement so the guy keeps going whatever direction he was going in... its annoying because I seem to hit it slightly every so often as I'm playing, most games this button does nothing. Really enjoy the game overall though, these things would improve the experience greatly I believe...

A swing and a miss. I was here thinking this game was going to be some amazing unreal flash-esque type of game with amazing gameplay and a mutant going "deal with it" through the entire experience, when suddenly I find myself playing a passive bullet hell shooter. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't seem half bad, but where's my laser sniper bazooka mine deployer? :<

Nice, but hangs after you kill last boss or die in survival, buttons highlight on mouse over but click on them doesn't work.
