on the survival they dont give enough points the cannon rapidly becomes obsolete because you dont get the points to upgrade the dmn thing

I reset my upgrade points on mission 3 when I could unlock the armor eater, bad idea since I lost and got locked out from the zeus and got stuck with cannon, missile and vulcan all powered at 10. Quitting from the menu fixed the problem, though.

Are you kidding me? They lock certain upgrades?? Are you mental? Why in the holy mother of F&^% would you lock upgrades. No, I dont want to spend it all on a stupid useless mine layer when I could spend it to power up my cannon which is what you use 90% of the time. This is a fun game but...what the hell..first off they don't give you enough points and now they lock upgrades????? I've never even heard of that.

Dammit. I was lured into playing another tower defense game desguised as something else...ugh, I hate TD games. Although I do have to say this looks better than most...but then again I'm only on the first mission so I can see that changing. And aparently the hard badge is...really freakin hard.

best combo is both mines, and cannon evenly upgraded with armor pen on mines maxed and your good to go, never ned anything else

I find it unfair that if I'm getting overwhelmed and a dozen guys make it through before all my shields go down, I get a game over and use a nuke... but those other 7 guys are still in the base and keep launching missiles. Essentially, getting overwhelmed once can make you lose the level, despite having available continues.

"Top defense" sounds like another tower defense. What a great suprise when i launched it.
To be honest hard to suprise me so 4/5.

i think the game has great potential, i mean, who doesn't want to control an omnipotent orbital weapons platform that somehow has a never ending supply of ammunition that only ONE person is needed to pilot with ease?! (if you catch what I'm saying here...) however the gameplay gets repetitive at times and you have to wonder several things: why don"t they shoot back, how can you fire at units inside bases, why don't you just fire on the dropships and save a LOT of work, and finally, if they are inside the silos, why not just shoot the missile until it detonates and kills everyone inside? but back to gameplay, the upgrades need a little tweaking, all you really ever do is upgrade damage and armor piercing on your favorite weapons.
in all, i give it 6/10, for repetitive gameplay, common storyline holes, but a very creative and fun idea.

Anybody else get this? I was playing on survival, and when I lost (wave 10), the game gave me the option to restart from wave 10 with THREE shields instead of one. ???

not many people notice it, but when you attack something, i swerves off course for a second. it's a nice little feature that similar games dont have.

You be absolutely right about that Kryc... best I ever got to was wave 9 and that's all she wrotr, boyo! lol Ususally make it to 8 on normal ok, but can't get past 3 on Hard. Still figuring out the right weapons/strength combo.

using the vulcan cannon is a huge pain!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sometimes the vulcan cannon does not properly drag and it sucks so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it is not as cool as the first cannon, missile, and zeus gun. please fix.............

There should be twice as many levels that are half as long. Level 4 must have taken 20-25 minutes just to get through. After that I don't feel like bothering to finish the rest just because of the sheer length of a single level.

I love that the mission coordinates have absolutely nothing to do with their location on the map :D Great fun, I really wish you could grind old levels though. A tactic that I've found to work well (and wish I'd adopted earlier on) is to mainly upgrade your first cannon, massive damage and full armor penetration make it a beast. Then weapon 6, the one that locks on, is a good one to upgrade, wipes out either the large HP enemies or the motherships that fly in with ease, and you don't really have to worry about the recharge rate with them because they take a while to kill. Then use the rest kind of wherever they fit in usefully.

I had given this a 4/5 originally, but then I found out that you can't grind old levels, so I took one away. Good game, but there isn't really any fun in going to old levels if I have to play them exactly the same as the first time.

You should be able to redo previous missions to get more upgrades for your weapons, I'm stuck at levle 4 and without any way to levelgrind my weapons I'm unable to beat it.
