It's fun until the 4th or 5th board. Then they spam you with more stuff then you can possibly defend against. It might be different if they didn't force you to buy specific upgrades at certain points in the game.

For Easy/Medium badge just upgrade main weapon damage and armor piercing. Should manage to do all levels and potentially 5 star them.
For Hard badge follow this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ChFDt_7dDD4. Basically you need to upgrade items 1/7 and also purchase 4/5. See video for location ideas on where to place the items.

You don't have to put your points in new weapons-- the others get unlocked once the next wave starts, so you can just wait it out a bit.

@Ipslne: Middle part of my post is critical. Ain't no denying it can be done, won't argue. The fact that there are very, very limited modalities to use to achieve that goal... no me gusta, no lo quiero, no voy a jugarlo.

Ok went a bit long so I liked the game overall but the upgrades make no real sense. why would every weapon have basically the same upgrades. give missiles a larger area, give your cannon a faster attack rate excreta. why have a slow and anti armor field if all weapons can get slow and anti armor. yes it is cheaper but that is just bad mechanics. If you fix these things for a future game it could a really awesome game.

I normally don't do this but I am giving up on the hard badge I have a feeling it is going to be a real pain. especially since I went out of my way to beat hard levels to get more points for lvl 7 to find out you get 0 points no matter what. I think that would be more of a sandbox than survival since you start over from the beginning.

Hey man, I'm playing this game on a touchpad. The badge is hard, I haven't gotten to wave 14 yet... but wave 9 is as far as you can get? I hit wave 11 several times and I'm pretty sure if I had a mouse this would be way easier. I haven't even glanced at a walkthrough yet.

Right, fine - I looked up the video. Frankly, watching what he had to do I don't care to even be arsed with it. Badge badly suffers from "One true path even though we give you a bunch of options, you better choose the ones we want you to, bitch!"-itis. And as I've proven through years of old man yelling at cloud game comments, I HATE THAT SHIT. No, done - keep the badge.

I can get to level 9 on survival, and that's by hook and by crook, cranking the hell out of every secondary weapon and trying all sorts of upgrade patterns. This should be rated at least an impossible badge, not a hard one FFS. I don't suck THAT bad. If there's a way to do this, I have no idea wtf it is - I give up.

F-ing ridiculous. restarted, played again. now I have all upgrades again. I upgraded stuff, realized I should change something, clicked reset, and now ALL upgrades are locked except for #8. Seriously broken..

GLITCH : Played this game, and unlocked weapons 1-5. Browser crashed and I refreshed. Came back and all my upgrades had been reset. And now, I have the ability to use 1-3 and unlock 7. But, 4,5,6 are all locked up... ???

@AnselmoP - Thank you for that tip! Much appreciated! My issue is that, as I am new to the game, I'd like to see the hints, but would then like them to go away after I read them so I can see the screen :/
