Got stuck in those nests, and had to restart. Still a great experience. Such an atmosphere, I'm probably still too scared of it, even in 2021. xD

It's 2020 now and I'm still stuck in nests, forcing me to refresh and restart the level. Looks like nothing was done since the complaint at 2013.

This game is amazing, I don't know why everybody is saying that is buggy and bad. This game is great and reminds me of Alien Isolation. I especially love on the third level with night vision, you can flush the toilets in the bathroom... that is what I call greatness. This is one of my favorite games... thank you so much for a perfect game. 100/10 no exaggeration there

You definitely want to give "extended mag" to your pulse rifle. It makes a clip go from 60 to 90, effectively giving you 50% more ammo each time you get a magazine (max backup ammo is still (somehow) 200)

(Woe be) To any future players going for the Medium Badge: The wave counter on the badge is way off. Mine jumped from "9 left" to "2 left" to "5 left" back to 9 again before the badge would unlock. Rest assured it does seem to be counting your total number of waves completed, not in a row.

My quick walkthrough for getting medium badge: Play level 2 on swarm mode. Camp near the terminal (the blue thingy). Use SPACE to access terminal - buy only ammo and health packs. Save 20000 money for pulse rifle. Use SHIFT to change weapon. Camp all the time near terminal and buy ammo for pulse rifle, when monsters stop coming from below, go up to pull monsters from other spawn(be sure to have full ammo). Wave/round counters are bugged, they will say some low number, don't look at that. You will get badge after 10th wave.

Neat game! The graphics are nice and I like how free-form the floor explorations are; really helps with immersion. Swarm mode is also a pretty neat way to practice for story line. Only complaint is that on some of my swarm runs the Wave, Round, etc. counters (bottom left) always read 0 no matter how many waves I clear. Otherwise it's a solid 5/5. (Also accidentally lighting the furniture on fire is a solid 10/10 experience)

the final boss really wasn't challenging but the jumpscare at the ending freaked me out. please add more levels that are really challenging.

Seems like it's unfair to the developers (as noted from their comments), but this implementation is a 1/5. It doesn't make any sense - swarm mode doesn't indicate when "swarms" are done or restarting, they are impossibly difficult by swarm 4 and I am starting from scratch every time - the only reason I'm spending more than 2 minutes on it is for the badge. Bad situation, bad game. 1/5

Level 6 broke me. Attempt after attempt I tried to get the lower left mine pass, to hack the turrets, and failing cost me so much, while when I got the pass, I was swarmed by like, 20 of those small bugs. They kept re appearing, and I found I was unable to complete this game because of it, making me think the beating the last level badge should be 'impossible' because you can't even get to the last level, only the next to last level. Up until then I have relatively enjoyed this game.

oh another thing, the flamethrower such be redone due to the fact that flame throwers got heavy damage (due to they are chemicals) and they got mass ammo they can use with ease, here you can only fight for a few seconds and got poor damage, for example, the red aliens such be 1 shotted just like you such be able to mow down them heavy alien swarms but instead you gotta emtpy the entire thing out to fight atleast 10 alien reds which is unfair and isnt even a fair weapon for a flame thrower considering the pulse rifle deal much more dmg and got more ammo and is able to cut things down with ease

when you got a good grade weapon, great skills, almost untouchable status, only the be murdered by being trapped in an nest... wow just wow :/

It's a really good game overall. Levels are decently challenging without being punitive, there's enough ammo if you use it efficiently and not enough if you don't, and enemies don't feel too weak or too strong. I'd say the biggest flaws are the amount of ground clutter that gets in your way, the "speed up" in movement, being unable to attack when things are attacking you, and a lack of enemy diversity. You spend the entire game killing the little ones and the main crawlers, with only an occasional shadow guy or spitter. Story is interesting and kept me playing. 4/5

I love the setting and the ambience of this game. The game play however is shit. Even after planning, and proceeding carefully, suddenly I'm surrounded by aliens who keep spawning, my gun won't reload, and it's not because of anything I'm doing.
The fact that flash doesn't save games anymore puts it over the top, and I'm not playing this any more.

also, the beam or target for aiming is too narrow and too sensitive. combining the dark visuals, the slow movement of the player, the narrow beam and very sensitive directional aiming, it's hard to not die in 15 seconds when faced with more than 1 of these fast little red scorpion alien creatures.

motion of the player character is extremely slow compared to the alien creatures. Can't seem to move fast enough to get away. Can't tell from there if any of the shots are connecting with them. reading the comments below the Dev indicated the game isn't supported anymore so, this is more of an observation than anything else. Cheers.

Go into swarm mode, pay 20.000 for a weapon. Is worst in every way than a default one. Are you serious or screwing with us? UI is terrible as well, at the beginnig I couldn't even figure out what to click to buy. Not to mention that buying supplies is a pain. There's just so many small things wrong with this game.

It is quite solid, though the unresponsive terminal reflex games and getting stuck in the nest holes (a game-breaker glitch) transform it into a super irritating experience.

The issue is that we understand the new game has a lot of updates to swarm but the original is still the one we need to get the scared stiff achievement and it's barely possible when you spawn in the middle of ten aliens. just try and fix this one I understand its a hard achievement but this isn't hard this is impossible.

A suspenseful mood almost the whole time, I love it. It would have been nice to be able to close doors but it does not ruin the experience. One thing that does, however, is the fact that it is easy to get stuck rounding a corner when you are not even touching the wall, just near it. It gets annoying when under attack.
