I really enjoyed the story. Just FYI for anyone who cares, the difference that you click on with the yellow cursor is the change that takes place onto both images

Why do Part 1 and Part 2 have music and this one doesn't?
I really missed the music. It was giving a great atmosphere to the story.

You know you could rename it to child of a troll: "j00 boy n00b!!!! stup crying ffs, lawl, gal isun't dead, I was just trolling ya, lul Epic Fail!" That is how I read it anyhow.

Great story. I initially thought the son was the rapist as an old man (there was nothing to indicate the witch was THAT old), so the words were necessary to a point, but the story was mostly well told through the pictures alone. Beautiful art and decent music. Couple of minor game-related problems were a bit of a detraction (sometimes not all parts of a difference would register as a valid click, and sometimes clicking to unpause the game would register as a penalty), but overall a solid effort.

To all of the people who think the girl is the daughter of the rapist's son - SHE ISN'T. She just works for him. Not more, not less. Not. a. daughter.
Beautiful story, gorgeous pictures, and great music. great job!

it is not entirely true that it was incest because he, the guy with a blond beatles hair, was made by the use of witchcraft magic not natural birth, in addition to that, its not incest because the girl just happened to be blonde like the guy because remmenber the girl was just a maiden looking for forward to become a maid...i hope you get it deathvonduel its not incest
if the witch son was the old man then it give a thought that she was rape when she at a childbearing stage maybe 14- 16, hence the guy that rape her is a doggone dickface pedo!

Happy ending is good.... but... let's see...
What is the thing that you can write in a letter that will make someone believe u r his mom?
Isn't there a law against incest.... fairly closely related too...
And hairs.... hairs... and hairs.... there is a hair one(sometimes more) on almost all of them.... you like hair?
Overall a good story, but... hummm...... not exactly perfect "happy" because of the incest part... I'm having mixed feelings~~~

I played all three of these games, and they were great. Only complaint I have is that on the last one, the text was not necesarry. The pictures all ready told a great story, and the text was more of a nuisance than helpful.

didnt got it :/the elder at the end is the son of the witch that the couple in #2 took away?wow the witch must be reallyyyy old!!!

I'm pleased by the happy ending. We've swung this way and that in modern-day society, from all stories having a happy ending to the present trend of "how nifty; everybody dies! Horribly! Look, the monster's proving it's a monster by eating a puppy and ripping out a little girl's eyes!" The game had a foreboding beginning and a tragic middle; I couldn't believe the happy ending, but it *made sense* and was very well done. A pleasant change from what has become the norm.

Okay, that threw me for a loop - I didn't think that much time had elapsed between the events of #2 and games #1 and #3, so I thought it was going to turn out that the girl was the child who'd been taken from her. When she said 'My lost son', my first thought was 'kid, you better be glad your mom chased her off - you dodged a bullet there.'

wohooi the rapist died, the old man at this game is the rapist's son. and the daughter of the witch? the girl was just some random girl that worked for the rapist's son the younger son fell in love with

The mother (witch) was raped and gave birth to a son. That older couple that she worked for took him and abandoned her in the woods. There she she learned magic. Eventually she makes a new baby who eventually falls in love with a girl. She grows jealous and fakes the girls death and scares her away. The girl starts working for the older brother of the boy. The mother finds out and wishes to make her younger son happy again. She brings the girl and her younger son back together and finds her older son at last.

The old man is the witch's child with the rapist guy. When we see the old man in the graveyard, that's rapist guy and rapist guy's wife that are dead. The girl isn't related to anyone.

ok there are so many places wrong lol
first of all, how is the rapist guy also the brother of the son of the witch.
and if the daughter of the witch and the rapist's age so close to the son of the witch, when she was born when the witch was just a little girl and the son was born when the witch was a full witch? there should have been like 60 years of difference in their age
and the most important question is, how many levels of inbreeding is that baby at the end? if the rapist is the brother to the son of the witch

I'm.. I'm confused... so... mother is raped, has a baby, is abandoned in the woods. She decides to make a new baby years later. New baby grows up and meets a girl.. who.. happens to be the daughter of his older brother and falls in love. Mom goes 'noes!" and then goes "aw he's sad" and in the end, ... Mom and eldest son come back together, while song and grand daughter have inbred little babies?
I guess it's better then my first thought which was that the witch's first child was a girl, and that the love birds were brother and sister...

What makes this series of difference games different from others is that things are actually drawn differently, which makes it more difficult in a way, but also more creative. The music doesn't really fit universally; it'd be cool if the music changed when the mood of the scenes demanded it. I also agree with the comments about how the text is unnecessary and even poorly written for the few words that are there. Seems like an afterthought. Still, this is a great difference game.

Fabolous plot,moving music,fantastic game.
I just had preferred a big hex on the old man in the end,but it has been a lovely game :)

It takes such skill to be able to tell a story using just pictures, but this game did it wonderfully. There was no need for the text in this part and I feel that it detracted from what was otherwise a lovely story. The pictures spoke for themselves, they didn't need the words.

The only thing I felt took away from it was the use of text. It would've been better if you'd been able to communicate everything through pictures.

@zag24: there is nothing to indicate that the girl is related to the old man. just like the witch wasnt related to the old couple she worked for when she was younger (child of a witch 2)

Oh, happy ending! I liked that. totally unexpecting. but I like the fact that you see how the Witch become she is was. and the fact that it was episode 2. it makes much for the story. and you understand how she feels.

i enjoyed the story very much and i also liked the happy ending, because i think it suits the game and the characters very well... the graphics are also pretty nice :)

A nice end, all in all. Very nice scene with them all sitting there. Putting in text is a new addition, in some places it seems unnesscessary and simply distracting, but it does bring the witch's character more to life as a person. You could go either way.
