Signet of the Demonslayer (50% stun/poison resist, +5 mana recovery) + Orb of Resistance (+30% stun/poison resist enchantment) => The single best ring. Almost full stun resist. Godly? Yes, I think so. I just got my 2nd of theese :D

You have to be damn lucky to win the 1st-Level Boss on Extreme Difficulty. x_x 'Course it doesn't help that I don't use a Cleric OR a Conjuror in my party, probably...

for survival mode:
-intellect ranger. A ranger that stacks intellect can buff all your party members (1 at a time) to have about 40 regen. They can also deal fairly good damage with envenomed arrow and give a quickness buff to your party.
-warrior. They can buff themselves to achieve stun immunity, i managed to get to 55% damage reduction before buffs from just armour. with buffs from a conjuror, can reach 70% damage reduction, then when you use shield wall, everything attacks your warrior who has 95% damage reduction. That can make entire waves easy because you have a turn of near-immunity.
-conjuror. The buff that gives 15% damage reduction to the whole party is amazing. summoning 2 war golems to fill the first row is also really useful. Having a second reviver can also be a huge benefit.
-intellect cleric. A cleric with intellect is better than one with strength because intellect improves healing and spell damage. Having the cleric at the back means that it pretty much won't die.

Oh and for the noobs who "can't get any scrolls", search the whole dungeon level and kill the monsters. It doesn't magically appear in your inventory. I can usually find 1-2 in the first 2 levels. Of course you won't get it if you keep running away from the enemies and/or diving into the next dungeon level everytime you find the stairs while only getting around 30% map completion.

I would personally prefer a the staggering bow of lethality over the unerring crossbow even if the crossbow is 2 levels higher than the bow. The bow gives a % chance to stun AND instakill an opponent. Anyway the game's weapon suggestions is usually helpful but you'll find that sometimes you'd prefer your own preferences over the suggestion. Like if it suggests that a wand that has glove with +10 health regen and +5 speed is better than my 10% chance to stun, staggering gloves because of my personal preference.

hmm... according to this game, a staggering planespine bow of lethality (level 6) is better than an unnerring voidwood crossbow (level 8). When i equip the crossbow and mouseover the bow, it then says that the bow is better. I was mildly amused.

i read the comment about the hydra but STILL killed heads first, because it is just too awesome to win whilst doing THAT :D

Definitely an upgrade from the original. I guess no one would ever play the original after playing this though. Aside from every aspect of the game being better, BoD has working achievements, not to mention the Impossible achievment in the original being out of reach for most people. Great job Grurin! This game series is now one of my Kong staples for sure. Can't wait for the sequel. :)

when the game suggests a piece of weapon or armor over what is currently equipped, trust it, but check it. occasionally it will not be right.

Holding ctrl while clicking quickly sells an item instead of clicking the "sell" button for every item. Also, the stats should be seen whenever you hover over an item, even in the shops. 2 stats window will pop out to compare your current equipment and the item if your character is able to equip the item. I don't know why you guy can't see it.

The system for selling items is cumbersome, perhaps a double-click with a confirmation request? Also, why didn't you allow for powers to be used outside of combat. Lastly, when buying items, you should really include the stats/effects of the item instead of just worse/better/equivalent.

Kinda unbalanced, but still fun. Makes me mad when the second dungeon is litterally impossible if you picked the wrong combo of characters. My character portraits was Link, Navi and Zelda. Good Idea to incorperate that.

I play for 3 floors straight without being able to shop. I end up having to throw away thousands of gold in items because I can't carry it, use it, or sell it. :( sadface.

i think ranger, cleric, conjuror, and rogue is the strongest. because you can stun monster with ranger and use skill coup the grace in rogue. it make the monster will die instantly. but this no use in boss XD

At first i didn't really liked the game, my first game was with a warrior, a cleric, a mage and a barbarian. But while i was trying to get the badge to complete the Kala Moor Quest, i started to understand the subtilities (you can't use potions during battles, only have a few spots where to regenarate your allies, you need an artefact to go to the shop...). So i tried again with other heroes (Conjuror, Cleric, Ranger, Barbarian), and i can say i really like this game :D 5/5 stars.
Follow my advice, at first just have on "fake" game to get use to everything, then start an other one, and you'll love that game.
Great job to the dev team!!!

Bunch of noobs. My first trip to the shop in my current game (level 3) managed to get me 20k (I bought the Lure which cost 18k). This only took 10 minutes. Really, the game is not that hard. Just take 2 minutes and read the descriptions.

Thank god thats over, possibly the worst game I have played and it took me so long to be able to get that last 100 gold for the quest badge!

One of the worst games I have played. There is no way to find out how to do anything and it is not intuitive whatsoever.

To anyone and everyone, I am having trouble keeping my data for games on this site for some reason, it all keeps deleting. My epic battle fantasy data, Gemcraft labyrinth, Bloon defense, EVERYTHING! --- If anyone happens to know any possible reasons / solutions to my issue could you please PM me with yer ideas. I'd really like to beat games again. Hard to earn "hard / impossible" badges when I have to restart all the time! ----- Please and thank you, Solstace. [I will be posting this in the comments of some of my favorite games in hopes of getting some help.]

I find this game somewhat dull. I guess I just prefer more action. Just my opinion, I'm sure there's a lot of people out there who enjoy this game a LOT more than I do.

I found much more success once I learned to stop fighting bosses. You don't even need to fight them to move on or level up, all they do is make you lose equips, at least until you're fully geared and got all the skills you can set.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I hope you do know that you are allowed to change formation BEFORE the fight. It's how you put the melee characters in front and put the squishy range characters at the back. You're either ignorant or blind or retarded to complain about that.

Gold is for buying and selling items. Unless you pick the "attrition" option, you will randomly get a teleport scroll in drops or treasure chests. In my recent game, I managed to find a scroll at level 1.
