Took me awhile to figure out but what you need to get the badge is to save up the most valuable items you can and sell them when you get a portal scroll that you use on any member of your team to bring up the shop... don't forget to buy stronger weps/armor as I did and close the shop as it may be awhile before you get another portal scroll

I'm on level 2. First move - leave the battle. It's 4 of me, 5 of him. He got 9 moves before my 2nd guy even tried to leave the battle. HTF does the enemy get 9 moves in 5 players when I'm fleeing. I HATE this game.

This game is awful. The enemy is significantly faster, more powerful and equipped with far better spells. And I'm on level 2. I nearly beat a guy, he then refreshed to another character with full health. There's no shop, so you NEVER can sell your stuff. Not in the top-10 worst games in Kongregate, but damn near close. Just putrid. 1/5

Okay, found the answer via google. You have to double-click on the 9 fragments to combine them to another item. Double-click on that item and you get to the super scary quest boss. Which was not super scary at all, especially as I went to level 11 in the meantime.

Mfb0: You did not ask a stupid question, but I will try to clarify. For the medium badge, I believe that you must complete the first 9 levels (you will know when you battle your first extra bad Monster). (Mind you, all the times that I have played, I don't remember having played the second campaign, so I'm not sure what you mean by the glowing fragments.) But odds are that it will be something on the order of 9 levels instead of 40 for that badge.
For the first hard badge, you can play either the first or the second campaign (past the initial nine levels); it is solely based on when you receive your 50,000 points.
For the second hard badge, you must play the 3rd campaign to level 40.
Good luck!

Stupid question: How to complete a campaign? Do I need to reach level 40, or can I do something with the 9 glowing stone fragments before (I picked the second game type)?
And why does it say "either campaign" if you can choose between three game types in the menu?

tbh still the best monsters' den. It's easier to play and straight forward, less 'balanced', and requires less thinking. A really good game to kill some time.

When you get adobe flash player crash while in battle and reload page you get back to that battle.
If you won the battle, got loot and after that adobe plugin crashed after reload the monsters are defeated but no loot in your backpack.
Just lost these very good tanky boots :(((

FrosteeFyre: I know of no way to export saves, but then I'm not computer savvy. What I recommend is to exclude these files when you clean your cookies. For example, say you use CCleaner, under Options, then Exclude, add whatever files you wish to exclude from deleting. I exclude the whole category that all my game plays are saved under as I don't want to have to enter many items under exclude (I just have to periodically delete some other unwanted files individually). If you don't know where your game saves are located, do a computer search for multiple games which you've been playing, and you should figure it out rather quick. I hope this information helps.

ZobmieRules: Enchanting stays on the item you place it on, even if you remove it from yourself, you simply can't later move it to another item. I have never had an item “actually” disappear. Are you certain that the items didn't just vanish into your inventory? For this type of reason, I keep my items sorted as “none.” When I am finished deciding which items to keep and have tossed the less desirable ones, I may briefly sort it by “type,” so things can later be easier detected, but then I immediately change it back to none, so newly received or discarded items are at the end of the inventory and are easily found. I hope this helps.

Voizod: There are many different ways to defeat “The Corrupter.” One needs to strategize how it is best to outfox it; you must not have as yet learned how best to use your skills. Now knowing that it is there, when I know that I will battle one of the extra difficult beasts (every nine levels), I never have my people wear damage reflective clothing, as that is what makes this one difficult to best.
Since I use Cleric, Rogue, Ranger, and Conjuror, my most important strategy is for my Rogue to use Sap Strength, so that it isn't able to copy my people in the first place. And if somehow I forgot to do so and it copied my people, my Conjuror would use Banish each turn to help get rid of those copies. My Cleric would use Holy Light to partially blind them, so that they may miss their attack on my people. (Later, my Rogue may use Flash Powder to further blind it, depending on when he needs to again use Sap Strength.)

Meanwhile, my Ranger, as always, uses Natures Balm, to give my people some healing each turn. My Conjuror uses Eldritch Aegis, to help my people resist damage, and may use sprites to give power or healing to my people (in addition to being a decoy for it to attack). Of course, if things do not progress as planned, I have to know how to adapt, such as using my Cleric's Revive, or my Conjuror's Call Soul (to revive), if necessary.
As you can see, this strategy is completely different than flickeringflames' potent initial attack on it (I prefer to have both full health and power at the end of my battles). Many different strategies work. Just remember, if you have Rogue, that Sap Strength is a complete lifesaver against powerful bosses. You never mentioned your party so that experienced people can give you recommendations on how to best use your your party's abilities. Simply ask for advice and I am sure that many people would be happy to help.

At times I'll switch equipment and the item I HAD been wearing disappears. Likely a bug with being added back into the inventory? Maybe because it was enchanted? It's happened 3 times now in the 20 floors I've played. Now that big a deal since I wasn't going to wear it again anyway, but it's still a bug. I'd report it as a bug but the game is so old at this point that it won't be fixed, which is fine.

VoiZod: I'm sure there are countless other ways to do this, but what I did to defeat the final boss is I used Anoint with my Cleric, Inspire with my Warrior, then finally Charge with my Barbarian. Since the boss occupies the back row with nothing in front of him, this tactic worked well for truly massive damage right off the bat.

Well Thanks for a Big freaking SCAM you play until level 9 Den of Corruption and come to the last Boss called 'The Corrupter' it has 1230 hp while all your characters have 190 to 204 hp each, Then the Boss does a Dark Mirror spell, Mirroring your whole party!!! This was just a SLAUGHTER! for my party that I built up after like 3 to 4 days of playing! what a slap in the face to other players that worked hard skilling up to be just popped like a pimple on the last boss! -4 stars from 5 because of this unbeatable VERY Unbalanced Boss Devs evilly put in.

VoiZod: FYI, it takes awhile to earn portal scrolls (approximately every other level). With this in mind, I normally go to the Emporium about every two levels (or so), saving that ability unless I truly need to go there. Just toss cheaper items which you don't need.
Do be careful what you purchase, as some items will soon be replaced by better items which you collect. Initially, I normally just sell excess items for money to purchase what I want most, the Emporium Preferred Customer Badge, which gives one the ability to visit the Emporium once each level.
Hopefully this information helps you plan ahead. Feel free to pm me with any questions.

I figured it out, but now I have a major question Is there a way to get to the Emporium ( shop ) after you have used the only shop TP scroll you started out with ? Because I have full inventory again and its money wasted if I have to start deleting stuff. :(

VoiZod: Don't attack your own people, lol. I looked up a previous comment of mine to hopefully find the answer for you. You are likely using a melee instead of a ranged weapon. So either you have the wrong person(s) in the back row, or you provided him the wrong weapon for your desired placement. While we're on placement, make sure to have your strongest armored character in the front middle as that position will take the most attacks. Also, try to avoid having any characters using only the blue armor in the front row. Hopefully that helps. :) If you have any further questions feel free to pm me.

this game is unplayable unless Im missing something, everyone in the back row of your line up can not do anything, a mage will damage the person in front and to the side of them, archer same thing, you can not trade places with the person in the back with the person in the front row during the battle.

I really don't get how you're supposed to kill any of the bosses past level 1. You're ridiculously underpowered compared to them and it's not fun anymore.

Greenrabbit7: There is a way to change the portraits to other preprogrammed pictures. What I do, when one has the option of deciding on the four characters, is to first choose the desired type of character by choosing one of the seven symbols to the right. If you don't already know which ones you want, I would suggest clicking Preview Class Skills first to look over each of their skills to help make your decision. You should decide on all four types before proceeding with their portraits. Then, above and to the right of those seven symbols are two smaller symbols. The top one represents either male or female; click to make your selection. Then directly on the right and left edge of the portraits are arrows; press one to scroll to make a desired selection. If you want to change the name, you can either click the second symbol below the male/female choice, or simply click where the name is located, delete, and enter the name you desire.

Amazingmaziarz5: I am not sure what you are asking, but I will take my best guesses. To exit the game (the game saves automatically), at the bottom left of the game you will see the menu button, click that to exit to go to the menu. If you are in the character section (chars), on the right, click return to go back to the dungeon.

Dsrtrosy I am not a MAC user, but there is an issue with the latest Firefox update not saving flash games. If OSX High Sierra is a FF based browser, that could be the problem.
The only workarounds I have found are to revert to an older version of the browser or to use a different browser entirely.

I know this is an older game, but it's one of my all-time favs. I can no longer save it on my Mac - every time I leave and come back I am starting over from scratch. Any suggestions? Anyone know a workaround to make Flash work like it's supposed to on OSX High Sierra?

sonick921 - I had the same issue until I got an adblocker, I think it was the constantly refreshing banner advertisements that were slowing it down. Runs fine for me now!
