Slawekkii, I am guessing that you have your Rogue in the back row instead of the front, which are the only positions where melee weapons are able to be used. Either that, or you gave him a range weapon which can be used from the back row, but then his melee skills will not work. Good luck!

Double post, but I feel this is too important for anyone who's struggling - The corruptor can only cast Dark Mirror once; casts it at the start of the battle and it only works on alive characters. This means you can purposely kill your party except the cleric, then revive your party back after the corruptor uses dark mirror and it becomes a 4v2.

Using this strategy easily got me through to wave 40 -- had a couple close calls with dwarf veterans doing hammer slam, but never even had to revive, just resummon golems when they went down. I stopped healing after wave 40, and got through to wave 47.
Some tips: Wraiths and dwarven crossbowmen are dangerous. Take them out quick. Every 20 waves, all monsters will gain a level. When a golem dies, recast at least eldritch aegis on it when you resummon it. It'll keep it around longer. If someone gets hit with a punishing blow, it'll reduce their damage by 50%. Use single target heals with the cleric until benediction activates to heal this.

Hard badge strategy:
Warrior, conjuror, cleric, rogue
For stat points, endurance on the warrior, intellect on the conjuror and cleric, and dexterity on the rogue.
For skills, take adrenaline, resolve, shield wall, and inspire on the warrior. Put the other points into armor proficiency. Take call soul, banish, wargolem, and eldritch aegis on the conjuror (replace wall of shadows). Put the rest into augment health. Take holy light, heal all, purify, and revive on the cleric (replace smite). Put the rest into benediction. Take hide, thief's luck, and coup de grace on the rogue. Put the rest into poisoncraft.
For equipment, make sure the warrior has a shield, high armor rating, and as much endurance and health regen as possible. The warrior will also benefit from some power regen. Make sure the cleric has a censer, and as much power regen as possible. Intellect doesn't hurt either. Give the conjuror some power regen and intellect. Make sure the rogue has a bow, dexterity and power regen.

When you abuse the ranger ability of 70% accuracy because you boosted it to 140%, to make it 100% accuracy. then boost speed to 90 so you go first ever time. Then Clear the enemy teams health by 90%-100%. Wonderful. Pandora box is easy with 4 rangers on your team that win before the enemy team gets to even go. xD

Oh pardon, P.S. again, only problem is the warrior lacks abilities for ranged, woulda been perfect if he had more to use there aside from inspire, adrenaline and the not so ranged resolve and defiant.

Rogue can be ranged or melee, mage can be a tank despite being in cloth, ranger can be a druidic healer or melee, spear wielding warriors barbarians and druids can attack from the back row, i love the versatility in this game, the only ever bad thing is that if you want a cleric, mage or conjurer with a sword you'll need the gorgon's head or the minotaur's horn as there are no other offhand items available for those combos. Not much to say past this game is quite amazing.
P.S. save teleport scrolls and buy the 30k shop teleport as early as possible, it helps quite a bit if you save up and go for legendary lures. Oh, and teleport scrolls don't count to the 1 teleport limit of the shop badge, meaning any additional scrolls you have will allow you to teleport a second time on floors with more items, also have a chance for 2 legendary lures though that'd cost 40-60k so quite unlikely to be managed in a single floor.

So, I went for the classic: Warrior, Cleric, Mage and Rogue.
You don't need a fast warrior.
You need to take the Rogue skill "cripple". The speed of the targeted enemy is set to 0.

Not well documented: You can hold down the control key while clicking on item icons in the shop to quickly sell them. You can also double-click on the icon (for an item you own) to equip them to the current character, without leaving the shop.

Ok, I know a lot of people knock on overwhelm(warrior trait) for requiring you to have a fast warrior, but if you build a team around it, it's fairly useful. I use a ranger to buff speed with swiftness, then a conjurer to buff defense, and then my warrior buffs attack(hes in the back row with a with a spear behind another warrior). next round, nothing can stand up against a warrior with overwhelm and stacked strength.

a great game, very simplistic in it's design, yet for some reason very fun.
I think i like it more than the Monsters' Den Chronicles, although it had "better" graphics

When pandora's box becoming 100% winnable(any kind of combination).
I feel somewhat lose..cause there's no further challenge. Here is my Invincible team combination if you guys Interested: warrior ,mage , cleric ,conjuro r(warrior's quicknness must slightly faster than mage---it's essential) just leave a clue , dont want to be spoiler here. Otheres team combination may do as well to defeat any pandora's box but I only have one save slot never try other class yet, you guys can figure out youself. Afterall this is most fun part of this game.

This game is so good except for one thing, I wish I could choose whether to lose items on death or not, so I could play extreme. But as I've been playing this game for a few years I know that won't happen.

The music while playing... Goodgame Empire used to have exactly the same. Which one was first? (This game is absolutely great this just came to my mind)

Double gorgon pandoras box is literally impossible to beat. Have 100% poison resist and 60% stun resist and they somehow keep spam stunning my whole team.

Survival Mode
Warrior: Melee Attack, Power Attack, Cleave, Inspire, Adrenaline, Shield Wall ( 5 points in Armor Proficiency)
Cleric: Melee Attack, Heal, Revive, Smite, Purify, Holy Light (6 points in benediction)
Conjuror: Magic Attack, Summon Golem, Summon Bloodsprite, Vortex, Call Soul, Eldritch Aegis (4 points in augmented health)
Mage: Magic Attack, Freeze, Fireball, Power Shipon, Flickering Flames, Electrical Storm ( 6 points on Spell Mastery).
Equipment
Warrior: Heavy Shield (most important), Heavy pieces of armor with Health reg, power reg, strength or damage reflexion. I got 18 Hr, 18 Pr, 30% poison resist. 1055 armor rating.
Cleric: same as warrior but Censer instead of shield, and Intellect instead of Strength. 45% dmg reflx. 30% stun resist, 30% poison resist. 9 Hr, 14 Pr. 7 drain health.
Conjuror I focused on getting Pr then Intellect got lucky with 90% dmg reflex.
Mage: same as Conjuror as I pretended to use her as damage dealer. 30 Pr

Strategy
Warrior front center, Cleric front right, Mage back right, Conjuror back left.
(wargolem front left, bloodsprite back enter).
Shipon when Neophytes appear will prevent them to change into Aetersomething.
Dwarves Crossbowmen ignores armor, Don't call shield wall when 5 or more dwarves are alive.
Holy light works pretty good against orcs/goblins and full enemy parties.
Always summon on empty squares of your side (golem front, bloosprite back).
First Wave
Summon Wargolem (Co), Inspire party (Wa), call Flickering Flames (Ma) on everybody incluiding Wargolem, Purify (Cl) to get 50% poison resistance, adrenaline (Wa).

Conjuror should have some lifesteal items, All of guys should have some items on power regen(you shouldn't depend only from Conjuror mana restore). Warrior is welcome with lifesteal too and reflection (I bought some Quickness items too)
My ranger was with venomous bow and some quickness items too.
Cleric always should have accesories "Censer" (+50 to all healing abilities), btw his quickness was the lowest in my party.
I hope you can win 40 waves with some of my advices. Good luck

Cleric skills: Heal all, Smite(use it wisely(ex. to finish tough guy), good to use vs undead liches), Revive (second revive in a team is good, but I died only 1 time in first waves lol), Holy Light (great skill vs lots of opponents, it reduces all enemy accuracy on 30%, adding great chance not to receive damage at all)
Ranger skills: Swiftness (perma boost to all on Quickness, you can start wave with at least 2 first attacks, which can help you insta-kill even 2 of them), Pierce (can damage 2 enemys in a row, another AoE skill is good), Hunter Prowess (110% of damage and 10% chance to insta-kill)
You can took Envenomed Weapon to add a lot of poison or put 1 more point in passive "nature lore" (it's like critical strike).

I did it! 40 waves. I took Warrior, Conjuror, Cleric and Ranger.
Warrior in a center of 1rd row, others could be in different ways.
Conjuror should have skills: Mana Sprite (very helpful to restore energy and to disctract attacks), Eldrits Aegis (damage resist to all teammates for all 40+ waves, expect when some teammate die, you should cast it again for him), Banish (good when neophyte transforms) and Call Soul (to revive).
I took passive damage for summoned creatures (mana sprites took 2 attacks before die in most of cases, so I think extra health for summons is useless)
Warrior skills: Inspire (perma damage on all teammates), Cleave (very helpful when 3 enemies in a row), Execute (use it ONLY on full energy on tough enemy except "instant death immunity).
Passive: Leadership (with this you have % chance to second attack from your teammate).
