I hate to say this, given how much I love the first two Monsters' Dens, but I'm really disappointed in this game. the UI is so busy and cramped I find the game almost unplayable. I mean, I understand wanting to spruce up the graphics, and more power to the dev for it, but sacrificing playability for prettiness is never a good idea.

Would be great to rearrange your customized bags, since even with selected rarity filters, it put loot in "first-come-first-served" order... so, if you later buy a bag, and want to put more valuable stuff into it, this won't happen, since an "earlier" bag with filters for common and useless lott will take those. While it's not utterly hard to reset and set your bags from scratch, it's quite annoying in sense how easy could be to implement some ordering or rearranging for those bags. Small annoyance, but still.

i love this game! but is there a way to permanently save the characters stance? like for example can i have my assassin rouge be in his poison stance as a default? that way i dont have to change it every single battle.

Well, I must say I thought the previous two games were so brilliant, that this is almost a disappointment. Still its brutally good of course. I got some kreds and paid for premium mostly because of what the first two parts meant to me; part one got me signed up for Kong ;-) I'm going to play this one till it breaks!

One little thing I'd add: Make it possible for players to switch up the formation of their characters after each wave in Campaign 4.

Please update it so I can have some female characters. I mean, there were female characters in the the first two, so I expected some in this one too. 4/5 Would have been 5/5 if you had female characters

The difficulty curve on this game is like a brick wall, but it just makes me want to keep grinding out for more loot, a great installment in the series

One of the things I loved about the previous games was that I could change the gender of my characters. Am I missing something in the customization screen or did garin really not put that option in this time around?

The best thing about book of dread was that you could not grind. You either succeeded or you didn't. This game unfortunatly lacks that challenge but it's fun anyway and ofc its 5/5

okay , now that i have a fair amount of play under my belt, i will give my thoughts Chronicles is a step up from its predecessors in every way, its more polished and it fixed the one thing that annoyed me about book of dread, the poor access to the shop. 5/5 and would rate higher if possible.

Tooltips don't appear to be showing up, which makes equipping party members, picking attacks, and not blindly running into fights with horrifying odds all a bit problematic. It SEEMS really good, and I was a huge fan of the last two, but I can't really rate this as is.

Yes Im aware I can put a level 1 in my party and itll be all scaled down to level 1 that way.... but thats a cheap workaround that shouldnt be needed or useable.

Cant say Im a big fan of the whole "everything is the same level as you are, in campaign mode". Got through the first campaign then figured Id play though it again using the same chararacters - dieing on floor one. Meh. I enjoy being rewarded for the time I put in - work hard, annihilate all. Not work hard to struggle on easy levels.

The original 'Monster's Den' was the first game I ever played on Kongregate. I am very happy to give this game 5 stars.

My advice is to invest all your money in Emporium armour. Your heroes have 6 armour slots and only 2 weapon and accessories slots, so you will get more items. And this will help to collect armour sets.

I think the magic shrines are a little too rare, not had a shrine of any kind for about 8 floors, which, given that only 1/4 will give legendaries anyway, is a huge number of floors for just a single legendary :S
