Sadone is right. The supposed "Amazing" Armor bonus from the huge hull is non existent. Even with the maximum armor plating the amount of damage taken never changes. Fix this. Now.

@SadOne and @GENRALISIMYS I also bought the most armored hull and if the dev's response is it's bigger so it takes more hits, than you grossly underestimated how much more armor and hp to give it because it's basically a piece of crap. Spend your 15k on other stuff. + up so other people don't waste their money like I did.

Tip: Don't buy the Cruiser Hull ( the big one ) because even with the armor bonus, it is easier to die because more enemies are hitting you. I hate asking for plusses, but + this please, so I don't have to tell this to new players so much.

Flamethrower is extremely underwhelming and it's disappointing that you can't reset skillpoints. No further complaints, however, game's decent after that.

It doesn't make much sense to me how I can have all of the best and most expensive items in the game and still not be able to advance. This has the potential to be an awesome game with a lot of tweaking, until then I think I'm done with this grind.

I just noticed that the homing missiles do not home on at least one of the bosses (the one w/ capacitor). Weapon speed attribute could be a bit more accurate. Otherwise pretty fun overall.

Skills need a serious rebalance, with 4 points in Tesla aura, the damage and range is pathetic, whle a single point in slow-mo lets me dodge every bullet. Not a single boss posed any sort of threat, whereas the normal battles ranged randomly from "cakewalk" to "near impossible", the color scheme is cute and all, but yellow bullets, enemies, coins, explosions and guns just don't work in the long run, it's very difficult to see what is what. The items themselves are a joke, you'll always, ALWAYS want one vacuum and one thruster (both are cheap as dirt), no matter what you build, there's no real reason to increase damage, as all the better weapons vaporise everything they hit, and armor does nothing. That leaves you with 2 actually important slots for weapons. A good basic idea implemented badly. All in all, 3/5

There's another bug.
When you have a big battery capacity and Slow-mo on about third level, you can use it continuously so no one can hit you.

This is a nice little game, but it's let down by the maths unfortunately! Buying the armor hull and equipping four armor plates leaves you with less armor than you start the game with, I've tested it by returning to the first level with this and seeing how much each shot hurts me. The developer needs to look at this urgently :)

Bosses are way too easy, difficulty of levels vary too greatly, there's no reason to buy any of the melee weapons; if you want to use a melee weapon use the ones that you get from bosses. Could use some polishing up, but hey who doesn't enjoy a game of blowing shit up? Oh also, a distinct lack of an ending.

I'd dearly like to give this game 5 starts but I can't. The graphics are great the sound is pretty good but there are some things that seem like really odd choices. There are missions that earn 9k gold with the next ones that earning m pointing in. Over all 4 starts for a bit of fun, version 2 should be great.

Easiest way to win: Buy a small sucker ASAP. Upgrade Money Skill to 4 or 5. Always sell old equipment (except the reward sword). Get 3 shotguns ASAP, then upgrade them to multiguns. Final payload: Math Chip Z-2, Armor Plate X-2, Extra Stabalizer (two of them), 3 Multiguns, and an Extra Sucker if you really feel the need for more money (or swap in a 4th multigun). Finally, spend the rest of your skills on health. All other skills are a total waste.

Although this game is fun there are definitly some things you got to tweak.
a) The levels are completely imba. Some easy levels give you tons of money and some other alleged easy levels are impossible to beat and if you have done them, theres only small money involved.
b) The huge hull has no improvement in armor. And armor in general seams to be broken. I got 4 x-2 plates with nearly no effect at all. 4 to 5 salves of a gunball kill me outright.
c) A skill reset should be possible. Even if it costs you a fortune, 'cause money is just a matter of grinding.
d) I did all the boss levels on the first try, but higher levels with small gunballs are nearly impossible to beat
e) the high level guns are much to cheap. And they suck.

I agree about biggest hull -- I saved up for it and hugely regret it. I'm dying constantly, and before then had no problems. I've tried many builds. At least let me sell it back! I feel like otherwise I'll need to start over, and I don't think the fun/time ratio will be in my favor then. Usually when there is a mega-expensive item, its downsides aren't so ... huge.

So you beat the game, get the hilariously awesome Emperor First. And there is no survival mode or anything to keep playing? You cant even replay the bosses. If one thing needs to be added to the game. It is that.

Badly needs skill reset. Wasted too many skill points on money to begin with and then money becomes useless so it's all skill points down the drain

Ok, i am lvl 12 with the most expensive "Armored" hull, 2x armor add-ons, and 2x multi guns ( the best available) and pretty much the best stuff money could buy .. How come i cant beat the "skilled gunners" level? (which is somewhat in the middle of your progress) ... thats just not right. ><

I enjoyed the game, but after playing for a while, I noticed some flaws. I think I actually enjoyed the first game more than the second. The reason why is because the enemies health is far too low, and after a while the weapons can't do anymore damage than what they already do. I liked the amount of enemies and thier health better in the first Gunball. However, I loved the new weapons you put into Gunball 2. I hope you take my advice and use it to help you if you ever make a Gunball 3

Ignore what someone else said, don't buy the multi-gun. The EMP gun is much better, fires faster and shoots through enemies. Shotgun is good if you don't have enough for EMP gun yet. Either buy the smallest sucker or save up for the second one, then save up for the biggest sucker and you'll swim in money. Sell the clone gun as soon as you get it because it messes with your inventory, it's no good compared to EMP gun anyway. It's good that we can sell weapons back but if we switch between armor hulls we have to buy them anew each time, dumb. Need to be able to reset skills. Spent my first 8 skill points on money skill and now it takes way too long to ever attain any other skill. Game needs proofreading. Mute button only mutes sound FX but not music. If you mute music then every time you enter level/enter map it turns music back on. Wish I could zoom out to see whole battlefield. Way too many flaws.

This game is so close to being SO good. Developers, pay attention to the comments and FIX the issues, and you could win the weekly or monthly prize. Excellent game, just so many little things. Like the best hull not working? Don't just say "it's because it's bigger", FIX it! And high rate weapons firing in bursts? Crappy. And the game is impossible without a sucker. And upgrading the suckers is pointless. Give them a range or something!

Problem found. i clicked this game on the games page, loading, loading this small video part comes up...still waiting then this part comes with the googly eyes on the ball. wtf do i do next? i clicked everywhere no play button found nothing i can do. plus REDUCE THE LAG!!!

Bought the cruiser and the next level I did I died 3 times in a row, Any armour bonus it gives you it takes away buy how big it makes you. Went back to the armored ball and did the level no problem. In other words don't waste your money on the cruiser.

Mega boring once emporer is defeated. Should be able to repeat bosses too... (Just for the sake of repeating, not getting more gear - or maybe if you sold that gear, you get it back, but can only have 1 at a time)
