LOL! When I'm trying to get the KAMIKAZE Achievement, I tried playing as BADLY as possible with Japan in Asia Map. But no one pays me any attention. Also, I'm trying to go berserk and overexpand but still no response.
The key factor to get Kamikaze achievement is to make the neighbours angry at you so much that they'd want to kill you. Attack everybody for it - and then rearrange the cards in your provinces before ending the turn to help the computer players capture your lands.

I like the way that the AI has a very unique strategy expecially in the second area and i like the whole concept of a total war like game mixed with a deck of cards! brilliant

I like this game a lot, but it's a bit frustrating because I don't fully understand combat, even after the tutorial. Units will retreat when I expect them to fight, or die when I expect them to retreat, and I can't figure out the pattern.
Thank you! The army will retreat when it lost 50% of its initial cards. So, to make a 5-cards army retreat you need to kill 3 of them.
Sometimes an army will fight to the end, when the "StoneWall" powerup is activated.

scenario 13, playing as USA (blue), first to move, first turn got all lands except 2 (from the same enemy), won at turn 2. Maybe if I try another strategy I could win in turn 1, winning before the enemy even got the chance to move?
Need some way to balance things, at last to not have so much advantage in the first turn. The other way is even worse, lose before even moving ...
Yes, sometimes luck plays significant role. The point is that each time you start the scenario, it's actually new game, only the basic power layout remains the same, while the provinces shapes and cards dealt become new.

lol in scenario 2 one vs. all the southern groups have chance to win: absolutely impossible, i play a few rounds as southern group, end up getring eliminated and several turns later, southern ai wins :D
lol, it's a very rare occasion. BTW, I'm going to add the feature of saving and sharing replays throught the web to show such interesting game situations.
Спасибо! :) Сейчас по статистике авторы большинства топовых флеш-игр - русскоговорящие. Как-то на главной странице JayIsGames было 6 игр, 5 из которых написаны нашими.

This is a fun game indeed, but please add an undo-button. I already misclicked a few times now and sent reinforcements to another field instead of attacking as I was intending to do.
This seems to be a problem, really. Tell me, please, what is your browser and OS? Currently I'm trying to port the game to iPad and experience the same problem: the saved games are saved, but the medals do not. I'm working to fix it.

Great game, but I have one complaint. When I have attacked enough to be able to use the railroad power I can't move cards if a space was already used, even though moving them isnt suppose to take a turn
Thank you. After you attacked from a province, it sends its turn (becomes shadowed). Perhaps, I'd let the railroad bonus to restore the ability to move for all the provinces.

different difficulty levels would be nice. sometimes i wanna just speed through all of the levels and experience them, but each game takes so long i can only get a few awards, so i have no way of playing the other levels. an easier level difficulty might be able to speed up games

Love the game!! Only wish was that achievements gave you some sort of bonuses and that you could mouse over those achievements to see what those bonuses might be. However slight they might be.. Drives you to get them that much harder. 4.9/5
Cool idea! While I was away I thought of one possible kind of bonuis. What if, for example, the higher the player's rank is, the more experience he gets each turn. I'll think of its implementation.

Bug report: If you move you mouse over a province's stack as an enemy takes it, you will be able to see that stack of cards as if you had a Spyglass active.
Interesting suggestion, I'll think of it. However, usually the players like to have one option which mutes all the sounds (for example, if they are playing at work :) )
And do you know what's funny? When the game idea came to me first (2 years ago), I called the game Card Wars. Later I added changed "card" to "cards" to take cardswars.com domain name (all the other domains alike were already taken).
I found it on Kevin McLeod's site, the great composer who allows using his music in the games. And recently I've played Little Kingdoms, the downloadable strategy game with the same music :)

I have to say, this is probably the best AI I've ever seen in a game. Very real, still difficult. I love how some enemies will leave you alone until you attack them and how others will gang up on the leader. It's quite perfect.

im really liking this game so far, one thing i noticed is that if you get multiple awards in one step (i noticed this when i completed a mission and completed more than one of the goals), the game puts all of them in at once; couldn't you stagger them out? just a friendly suggestion :D
Thank you :) When the idea came to me I didn't know about the Risk, I player DiceWars instead. But later I learned that DiceWars was inspired by Risk. Now I want to find some free time to play a party in Risk at home.
First I didn't catch the joke, and then I found the "Adventure Time" episode :D What a coincidence: the cartoon was on air the same day as my Cards Wars got to the Hot New Games on Kongregate.
Initially this message was in the tutorial, but later I decided not to overload the player with information. I'll think of posiible redesign of the tutorial.
